As Maitreyi Ramakrishnan does rounds of press for Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever” fourth and final season, she continues to impress with her wardrobe, curated with the help of stylist Wilford Lenov. But the 21-year-old star has now deemed her Atasan Studio anime corset set her favorite press outfit of all, sealing the deal with a comment on the Malaysian brand’s Instagram of her look. Ramakrishnan sported the separates – which come with “Spirited Away”’s Chihiro and Haku splashed onto a shoulder ribbon laced corset and a complementing ribbon turquoise satin skirt – with sculptural heels that wrap around the ankle, diamond and sapphire eternity bands, crystal drop earrings, and a nose ring. Alyx Liu fashioned her hair into loose waves, and April M. Chaney employed plenty of shimmering eyeshadow to play up the brilliant blue color palette. Ramakrishnan posed for photos taken by Bonnie Nichoalds ahead of her appearance, which involved shooting a video for Allure.
“NHIE” creator Mindy Kaling was one of the many fans weighing in on Ramakrishnan’s ensemble, writing, “Legendary look” on her social media post. Meanwhile, series costar Richa Shukla Moorjani left the word “Commotion” in direct response to Ramakrishnan’s caption. Nearly 1.5 million folks have already liked the picture on Instagram. Of course, those interested in owning the co-ord set will be happy to know Atasan Studio is offering made-to-measure re-creations for $410, which can be requested via direct message.
Previously, Ramakrishnan flaunted a showstopping Nicole and Felicia strapless ballgown to the June 1 premiere of the largely successful show, later swapping gold for silver in a high-low midi dress at the afterparty. Ahead of her time in the spotlight, she enjoyed a trip to Valencia, Spain, in April, where she showed off a high-waisted orange bikini from Scarlet Clothing on the beach.
Ahead, see where you can order Ramakrishnan’s corset set, and shop similar items after the jump.
