The Boob-Window Trend Is Dominating the Red Carpet

The boob window is the new trend in celebrity dressing making waves this year, both on and off the red carpet. As early as January, in fact, Lori Harvey stepped out to celebrate her 26th birthday in the LBD version of the look, flaunting an asymmetrical midi from The Attico with a chest cutout that circled her cleavage, and was further amplified by an attention-grabbing neck-tie sash. The outfits that follow often resemble halter silhouettes, although not all of these numbers boast a strap on each side.
Several celebrities have tried – and mastered – the boob-cutout trend, whether they’re hitting the red carpet or enjoying a night out with friends. Florence Pugh wore two sheer, neon catsuits for partying at Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire with cutouts placed along the bodice. Kendall Jenner delivered her take on quiet luxury in a gray Bottega Veneta midi with a boob cutout while spending time in Paris. Chlöe, who attended the Culture Creators Innovators and Leaders Awards brunch in June, rocked a mixed-media ombré gown from Harbison Studio that just might take the cake for most skin-revealing boob window to date.
