With the temperature gaugeĀ almostĀ reaching 30Ā°,Ā we have finally found an excuse to unleash our summer dress collection. Whether you’re a clean-linedĀ minimalist, a floral fanatic, a lover of boho ruffles or someone who cravesĀ a simpleĀ T-shirt dress, it’s fair to say that there’s plenty to choose from this season. Personally, I’ve been a big fan of the loose, smock-likeĀ styles that have proliferated over the last 12 months, as they both keep you cool and look the part with BirkenstocksĀ or strappy heels.
That being said, I have also appreciated the transformation of the mini this year, which has been offered up in unexpected fabrics and silhouettes. Think wrap styles in premium linen, pops of fuchsia and frill-neck collars. You also can’t scroll through the new-inĀ sections without noting that cut-outsĀ are a key theme for 2021, andĀ they can be found on both ends of the market. Although, & Other Stories’Ā cut-out black midiĀ is definitely a highlight.
