Here’s Everything Our Editors Wore to London Fashion Week This Season

February 21, 2022 at 07:00AM ‘Twas the night before London Fashion Week, and countless buyers and editors were just recovering from the sub-zero temperatures of New York, only to find themselves thrust into a 'red weather warning’ courtesy of storm Eunice. Day 1 was certainly a bracing experience, and we’re feeling thankful that as we reach the penultimate day of LFW, the weather has started to calm itself. Separate from practical considerations, us Who What Wear editors love the chance to get dressed up, however this season we have been discussing how, often, simply wearing the outfits that feel most authentically 'you’ is always the way to go. It’s so easy to overthink outfits when you’re wanting to impress, when, really, you always look your most radiant when wearing your most-treasured wardrobe heroes. Of course, this means different things for different people, so for me this manifests in striped tailoring and fringed jackets, whereas…

Skincare Slugging Is Going Viral, But a Derm Warns About These Dos and Don’ts

February 21, 2022 at 06:30AM From hydrocolloid bandages becoming acne treatments to using “frozen moisturizer,” TikTok has become the top destination for discovering strange skincare trends. While the social media app might not be the birthplace of some of these beauty hacks, it’s become a platform where they can truly flourish. Case in point: skincare slugging. The oddly-named trend has reached massive popularity over the past year, thanks to TikTok skinfluencers touting it as a fairly easy way to lock moisture into the skin via Vaseline or another petrolatum-based ointment. So what is slugging, exactly? According to Tracy Evans MD, MPH, board-certified dermatologist and Medical Director of Pacific Skin and Cosmetic Dermatology, “Slugging is the process of covering the skin (of the face usually) with an occlusive product such as Vaseline (petroleum jelly), Aquaphor, or a very heavy cream-based moisturiser and keeping it on overnight.”…

February 21, 2022 at 06:11AM After two years of uncertainty and postponements, I think—correction, I know—that 2022 is going to be the year of the wedding. I myself already have four this summer, and that number looks set to grow towards the end the year, as more couples I know have renewed confidence that their nuptials will be able to go ahead. Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney Just Wore These Surprising Trainers With Short Shorts

February 21, 2022 at 06:03AM Let me get this out of the way: I’m one of the very few people who hasn’t watched Euphoria yet. I know. However, thanks to White Lotus and our Who What Wear cover shoot last year, I’m still very familiar with Sydney Sweeney. So when she was photographed wearing a pair of attainable trainers that are still in stock, I got just as excited as all of you Cassie fans out there. Sweeney recently wore the Sorel Kinetic Breakthru Tech Lace Trainers (ÂŁ115) with a cute knit matching set and coat while walking her dog. Side note: Have you ever seen such an L.A. outfit? It’s warm enough for booty shorts, but it’s still winter, so you throw on a light coat just in case. That’s SoCal for you. Her trainers, however, are super cute and practical—even for the weather we’re having in Britain right now—and have essentially earned…
