’70s Hairstyles Are Having a Moment—Here Are 20 Looks for Major Inspiration

March 27, 2022 at 08:00AM If I could live in any decade, it would hands down be the ‘70s—not because I find anything about the way of life particularly endearing, but rather I’m absolutely head over heels for the aesthetic. From flared jeans to supersized sunglasses, when it comes to '70s fashion, I’m all in.However, as a beauty editor, I feel somewhat inclined to say that the single best thing about the '70s was the hair. I’m so obsessed with '70s hairstyles, in fact, that I have rocked the same '70s-style, long, middle-parted mop for well over 10 years. But it’s not just super-long hair that really defined the decade. Everything from shaggy lengths and fringes to blunt bobs and picked-out afros have remained some of the most timeless hairstyles around. And next year, it’s looking as though '70s hair is going to be everywhere.Don’t believe me? Keep scrolling for 20 '70s-inspired hairstyles that will…

Fashion People Can’t Stop Wearing This Very Specific Colour Right Now

March 27, 2022 at 07:00AM Thanks to Bottega Veneta, the colour Kelly green became something of a micro-trend last year. Aside from making the luxury brand’s shoes and bags instantly recognisable, it didn’t take long for this vibrant shade of green to start cropping up in the collections of various designers and stores. An intense green that can be found in-between the blue and yellow on the colour wheel, the name Kelly comes from the traditional Irish family name as the colour is commonly associated with the famous…

48 Beauty Products Editors Love Enough to Spend Their Own Money On

March 27, 2022 at 06:30AM Full disclosure: As editors, we get to try products for free sometimes. (And if you’re a beauty editor, that turns out to be all the time.) It’s certainly a perk, but it would also be quite hard to write beauty stories without actually trying the items being discussed. Even though we try new products often and may not necessarily need another sunscreen, for example, sometimes, we get so hooked on something that we feel inclined to go out and buy it. Other times, we’ll buy something simply based on word of mouth or reviews.Below, a handful of Who What Wear beauty and fashion editors divulged to me the products they use that are worthy of buying for themselves. I also included the ones I’m always replenishing myself and don’t know what I’d do without.Scroll to shop what could potentially be your new favourite beauty…

15 Perfumes That Leave You Smelling Freshly-Showered All Day Long

March 27, 2022 at 06:30AM There are few fragrance trends that I can’t get on board with. I like strong, deep and woody perfumes, I like lightly floral perfumes and I can’t get enough of warm, citrus scents, too. In fact, I don’t believe in sticking to one fragrance family at all. The truth is certain notes smell entirely different at different concentrations and when blended with others. My fragrance mantra is to choose your perfumes with your nose, not your knowledge. This makes my job hard. But that’s why, when writing about fragrance, I try my very best to ignore talk of notes completely and instead attempt (often poorly) to describe the perfumes as a whole and the feeling that comes with them. Personally, I don’t find myself leaning towards any one note and instead gravitate towards what I like to call ‘clean perfumes’. You know,…
