I’ve Had So Many Compliments On My Lashes Since Using This Cult Product

October 25, 2021 at 06:00AM I always felt like I had long lashes. That, along with using a lash curler and a selection of curling and lengthening mascaras every day I felt like my lashes were perfectly fine– no further assistance necessary. I very rarely wore falsies and never tried extensions; I just didn’t feel like I needed extra help. But as is the nature of being a Beauty Editor, when it came to using Revitalash I was curious about the claims of longer, stronger lashes that came along with the Eyelash Serum that has become a cult favourite for beauty lovers around the world. Revitalash Advanced Eyelash Serum isn’t new by any means (although the brand is launching a new brow and lash masque in November 2021), in fact the brand celebrated its 15th year anniversary this year and they’ve sold 10 million tubes worldwide.…

9 Outfits That’ll Make You Rethink Neutrals Being “Boring”

October 25, 2021 at 06:00AM Like anyone, we love a good pop of colour every now and then, but—hear us out—all-neutral outfits can be incredibly chic. We also can’t deny how simple they make getting dressed—which is sometimes why colourful dressing is deemed trickier. Sticking to a spectrum of cream, brown, and beige means you can mix and match with abandon because all these shades go together seamlessly.Still, worried that working in the absence of vibrant hues will make your minimalist outfits a little lackluster? Trust us when we say neutral-toned dressing is anything but boring. It just takes a jolt of inspiration to get the outfits right. Think about layering textures when testing out monochrome dressing, and you’ll stand out but in a subtle way. To prove our point, we rounded up some of our favourite looks from trendsetters who’ve tackled neutrals successfully…

These Coats Are So Warm They Feel Like Actual Duvets

October 25, 2021 at 06:00AM Approximately 10 minutes after it was announced about the lockdown back in November 2020, I started a hunt for a coat that could actually double as a duvet. If my life was going to be al fresco, I wanted to be cocooned in as much padding as possible. After a week of searching, I settled on an oversized puffer from Arket which is made from recycled down and is quite possibly the warmest thing I’d ever put on my body, and I have a feeling it will remain a staple for winter 2021. In my hunt, I’ve looked at every puffer coat on the internet, so I thought I'd share with you my rather extensive shortlist, many of which are back in stock this season. If you have a higher budget, Moncler, Max Mara, and Prada are the clear front runners, and unsurprisingly, I’ve found that that Scandi brands really…

These Cheap Serums Are Just as Good as Their Expensive Counterparts

October 25, 2021 at 06:00AM Working out what your skin really needs to look and feel its best can be tricky, but there are a few steps that skin experts unanimously agree should be part of a good skincare routine. First, a good cleanser; think of this step as the foundation on which the rest of your routine is built. Second, an SPF; wearing sun protection is the one piece of skincare advice that I hear most from dermatologists for preventing everything from signs of ageing to pigmentation. Third, moisturiser is vital for every skin type, from oily to dry, for repairing the skin’s barrier and maintaining hydration levels. Finally, a serum, which is possibly one of my favourite steps in my skincare routine and one that Kate Moss’s facialist told me is key to maintaining youthful, glowy skin. However, serums undoubtedly have a bit of a bad reputation for being costly, so it’s understandable that many people…

This Is Where Our Editors Plan on Buying Their Chunky Boots This Winter

October 25, 2021 at 06:00AM Luckily for us, it doesn’t seem like chunky boots are going anywhere anytime soon. Year after year, they come back stronger than ever—so much so that we’re pretty sure they’ve officially transitioned from a trend into a classic wardrobe staple. As you can probably tell from all our Instagram photos and WTBYB shoots, we Who What Wear editors are big fans of the chunky boot in all its iterations. Ankle, knee-high, lace-up—you name it. Maybe we love them so much because they’re just so versatile. Throw them on with your favourite full-length jeans, cropped jeans, mini skirt or midi dress, and they’ll upgrade the most basic of looks instantly. You can even wear them with your summer dresses to carry them straight into autumn. Plus, they’re practical, and we love it when form and function meet in the…

Kate Middleton Just Wore Another Piece We Can’t Believe She Found in Zara

October 24, 2021 at 08:00AM If you’re a regular reader of Who What Wear, you’re probably well acquainted with Kate Middleton’s wardrobe. She dresses pretty classically, but occasionally she’ll surprise us with something a bit different (case in point: this chic outfit with Warehouse and Chanel). The list of the designers she often turns to is pretty definite: often Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham and occasionally Erdem, Emilia Wickstead and Roksanda. But it’s not just the more expensive end of the spectrum she’s a fan of. She regularly wears high-street pieces from a range of brands, from Superga sneakers to & Other Stories dresses. But, and I’m going to put my stake in the ground here, her favourite store has to be Zara. For years she’s worn pieces from the high-street brand and always makes them look super expensive. Yesterday she attended a Euros game with…
