The Newest Blonde Hair Colour Trends Will Convince You to Go Blonde

November 15, 2021 at 06:30AM Every once in a while, I ask myself, Should I go blonde? I’m a die-hard brunette, so the answer is usually no, but sometimes the blonde hair trends are so good that they force me to reconsider. Right now is one of those times. Blonde hair has never been better, and it’s due to tons of traditional blonde rule-breaking and innovation. This year’s biggest blonde trends are all about dimension. “We have seen a lot of solid and deeper roots to emulate or reflect natural regrowth,” says Richy Kandasamy, colourist and R+Co Collective member. No one wants harsh regrowth lines anymore—everyone is keeping it soft. If you’ve never gone blonde before, don’t be scared—the blonde shade you’ve been dreaming of is totally possible. Be sure to manage your expectations, though. You won’t be able to go from dark hair to platinum blonde…

I Love Expensive Candles, But These Under-ÂŁ20 Ones Are Just as Good

November 15, 2021 at 06:30AM I blame my job for my addiction to expensive candles. Before I worked in the beauty industry, candles were something that I was bought as a gift for birthdays or Christmas, not something that I’d purchase for myself. However, one of the perks of my job is that I’m sent luxury products to try that I would never usually dream of buying—and candles are one such product. Over the last few years I’ve had the chance to try the fanciest candles from brands like Cire Trudon, Bella Freud and Tom Dixon and I now have a taste (or should that be nose) for the good stuff. However, I am more than aware that dropping ÂŁ80 on one candle is, quite frankly, ludicrous. My dad would tell me that it’s literally like burning money away and, to be totally honest, he’d be right. Lucky then…

This Bra-Size Calculator Is a Thing of Genius

November 15, 2021 at 06:03AM Without the help of our bra-size calculator below, finding out (and updating) your bra size can be a time-consuming and downright annoying thing to have to do. There are loads of great places you can visit to get your bra fitted (and I do venture afield, as you’ll see below), but the truth is that it’s super important to keep checking. Our bodies change fast (weight can fluctuate and our figures shift all the time), and wearing the wrong size bra can be rather damaging to your breast tissue. So although we would always recommend getting fitted properly, it is a great idea to be able to scope out your own bra size from home until you can fit the time in your schedule to get it done properly. That way, you can be on top of things when…

Cosy, Chic, and Classic—I Really Like These 22 Woollen Blazers

November 15, 2021 at 06:02AM When it comes to identifying the most popular blazers for women, a few styles come to mind instantaneously. Checked blazers are always a strong choice; leather, too. As are classic black and cream shades, which will go with just about anything you choose to wear underneath them. But, when it comes to winter, there’s one blazer style I prioritise above the rest—those of the woollen variety. As someone who wears blazers almost every day (at least, the days I venture outside of the house), I’m so glad wool blazers for women exist. As we all know, wool is one of the toastiest fibres out there, and selecting a wool blazer means I can continue to wear them even on the coldest of days without feeling a chill.Don’t get me wrong; I still have a puffer coat and a…

Kate Middleton Rewore Her Favourite Winter Coat for Remembrance Day

November 14, 2021 at 12:06PM With its epaulettes detailing, regal navy, red and white colourway, and smart fit, Kate Middleton’s classic winter coat was an elegant and fitting choice for commemorating Remembrance Day today in the centre of London. As is tradition, the Royal Family attended the Remembrance Day service at The Cenotaph, and despite the Queen being noticeably absent due to a sprained back, the Duchess of Cambridge held a central position in the balcony alongside Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Sophie, Duchess of Wessex. All had oversized poppies pinned to their winter coats and the trio also chose subtle drop earrings, however, it was Camilla and Catherine who opted in for oversized black hats. Camilla’s was adorned with ostrich feathers, while Catherine’s was a little more pared back with a simple grosgrain ribbon. If you recognise this coat, then you’re right on the mark.…
