When I started going back into the office and getting dressed more often, I realized that I had fallen victim to the speedy trend cycle and was racing through different pieces that quickly caught my eye, instead of investing in pieces that would stay in my closet for the long haul. I thought minimalistic pieces would be boring, but in fact, those were the pieces I was missing to get the most out of my wardrobe.
