These Days All I Wear Are Jumpers, and These Are the Ones I Love the Most

February 03, 2022 at 06:00AM When it comes to comfort dressing, instead of jogging bottoms or loungewear co-ords, the cosy item that I wear every single day is a jumper or cardigan. It’s hardly a surprising choice given quite how freezing it has been this winter. Considering they are all I wear, I have been steadily building up my collection over the past few months, with a mix of classic, simple knits and more statement styles that make them the focal point of an outfit. Perhaps it’s seeing myself from the waist up five days a week via Zoom calls or the need for some colour as an antidote to the bleakness of February weather, but I’ve been neglecting the grey and navy jumpers I usually wear every winter and am looking for something a little jollier. My all-time favourite knit is a lilac cardigan from…

These Cult Perfumes and Candles Are Worth Every Single Bit of Hype

February 03, 2022 at 06:00AM I’m not really sure when I first smelled the Boy Smells Ash candle. I think I was having one of my regular candle sniffing sessions at Selfridges, London and came across the brand, which I had become aware of after the launch of their famed Kush candle. I guess I was perusing the shelves and was struck by Ash, a concoction of firewood, smoke, charcoal, palo santo and hay. It was purchased immediately, and thus began my obsession with Boy Smells. I counted my tally before sitting down to write this and it’s at 7–  I admit, it’s an obscene amount for a tiny London living space but I confess this so you understand how much of huge fan I am. So, when I saw that Boy Smells launched their genderful fine fragrances into the UK market, finally I had to try…

For all the styling hacks and must-have accessories in the world, your underpinnings are the real game changer. Arket’s New Handbag Could Totally Pass For Designer

February 02, 2022 at 09:00AM PSA: I think I might have found the perfect handbag. And no, it’s not from The Row or Chanel, and it isn’t going to cost you your entire mortgage to secure (although, if you saw it on the street we wouldn’t blame you for thinking it might). No— it’s actually high street. From Arket to be exact, which makes sense when you consider the Scandi brand’s track record for producing seriously expensive-looking pieces at the more affordable end of the scale. We’re used to finding amazing clothing there by now, but the new Rigid Leather bag (which comes in two different sizes and six different colours) just took its accessories offering to a whole new level. Arket has always done minimalism so well, and this latest bag collection is no exception. It has polished clean lines and is crafted from supple double-bonded leather…

3 Beautiful Lingerie Trends Everyone Will Wear in 2022

February 02, 2022 at 08:00AM Let’s face it: We spend so much time putting our everyday outfits together and reading up on and shopping the latest fashion trends that lingerie seldom gets a look in. When you’re pushed for time in a morning, those final five minutes before you rush out the door (or to your home office if that’s still the case for you) are typically dedicated to final applications of makeup or choosing which shoes go best with the rest of your ensemble. More often than not, underwear is an afterthought. But that shouldn’t be the case. Like with every other garment or accessory we wear, there are trends worth paying attention to. After all, as satisfying as it is to know that you’re killing it in the outfit department, isn’t it even more satisfying to secretly know that your underwear is equally on point?…

I’ve Been a Stylist for 24 Years—This Is the One “Forever Trend” I Stand Behind

February 02, 2022 at 08:00AM Discovering and fine-tuning your personal style is a journey. For Roz Kaur, the process is near to her heart given her adoration for fashion as a way to express herself. She’s been experimenting with style for a long time—especially with her work as a stylist over the last 24 years. While she continues to uncover new inspiration to shape her style, she now has a defined aesthetic. On that note, there’s one trend that’s stuck with her over these years that’s signature to her: the tailoring trend. In fact, she basically considers it a “forever trend” because it’s one she’ll always stand behind thanks to the timeless nature.“I don’t believe in menswear or womenswear,” she said. “I wear what I like, and below is how I make these beautiful, functional, and adaptable pieces my own.” If you keep scrolling, you’ll see the tailoring…

I’m a Coat Obsessive—These Are the Ones I Want for Spring

February 02, 2022 at 06:39AM It’s safe to say that I’m a bit of a collector when it comes to fashion. Although the idea of a perfect capsule wardrobe is what I long for, in reality, I’ll probably always own multiple shoes in the same style and too many pairs of jeans. Then, there are coats. Shopping for a new style is something I look forward to each year, and now I have quite the collection I can pick and choose from. With springtime on the horizon, I’m also thinking about raffia accessories and linen dresses. However, considering I live in the UK, it’s always about layering. I’ll forever pack an umbrella, sunglasses, and a light jacket into the same tote bag (who knows what else is in the depths of said bag)—no matter the season. It’s also guaranteed that if I’m in the proximity…

Rochelle Humes Manages to Find the Most Expensive-Looking High-Street Pieces

February 02, 2022 at 06:11AM Is it just me, or is Rochelle Humes knocking it out of the park with her outfits at the moment? The multi-hyphenate talent has been filling in for Holly Willoughby on ITV's This Morning of late, and I’m now finding myself waiting in anticipation to see what she’ll wear next. This is made all the more exciting as she tends to find the very best pieces on the high street to inform her daily, on-screen wares, meaning that if I like what I see, then it’s likely going to be affordable, too. If you too want to dress as chicly as Humes does each morning, I’ve broken down her latest looks for you below. You’re welcome. However, with my interest piqued, I was also keen to find out how Rochelle Humes manages to find time to track down her expensive-looking high-street pieces.…
