Over the last couple of years, it has also become a pressing issue faced by the wider fashion community, as people attempt to buy less but buy better. But it’s always easier said than done though, right? The reality is that most of us don’t have a spare £1000 to spend on a designer coat, and historically, the high street hasn’t exactly been known for quality or longevity. However, over the last few years, it seems as though the likes of H&M, Uniqlo and M&S have finally clocked on to the demand for something more substantial. The result? I’ve Just Curated a Premium-Looking Spring Capsule Entirely From M&S

February 04, 2022 at 06:31AM While my body may still be experiencing the harsh cold of winter, my mind is already immersed in all things spring—particularly the fashion. It’s with this forward thinking that I’ve already set about mentally creating our perfect springtime wardrobe. From the next sell-out sandals to the best linen finds, I’m quietly archiving my favourite pieces as I see them, which I’ll then loop back around to when the weather changes. There is, however, one brand that seems to have mastered the art of creating spring-appropriate pieces that you can start wearing right now. And that brand is Marks and Spencer.Much to my delight, so many of the pieces I saw and loved in the Marks and Spencer S/S 22 press day last year have already started to appear in its new arrivals. From sleek, go-with-everything blazers and premium cashmere to could-be-designer handbags, good old M&S…

These 6 New Beauty Brands Truly Deserve All the Hype

February 04, 2022 at 06:00AM I love trying new beauty products. What a surprise, right? But after nearly a decade testing pretty much every new launch, I do sometimes get a bit disillusioned by newness. When you receive information about a “never before seen” product range every week, you truly wonder how much newness could possibly exist under the sun, but every now and again, I’m wowed by a delivery enough to rave about it to anyone who’ll listen. The 5 Skirt Trends That Should Be on Your Radar in 2022

February 04, 2022 at 06:00AM The last five or so years have seen midis dominate the skirt stakes, manifesting in everything from slinky, ‘90s-inspired slips (remember that sellout Topshop style?) to form-fitted knitted styles (#lockdownlife), but 2022 is set to bring a more eclectic selection of skirt silhouettes to the fore, and we couldn’t be more excited. The S/S 22 runways were awash with a plethora of skirt trends: Nanushka experimented with a throwback maxi-skirt-over-trousers pairing, while Miu Miu opted for preppier pleats that had a definitive school-days spin.Of course, we also have to acknowledge the storming return of the miniskirt, with Prada sending out silken minis styled with oversized leather biker jackets and COS adding an edge to its black minis with knee-high boots. There’s also a generous offering of statement fabrics to balance out the minimalist offering, and we can’t stop thinking about the high-shine vinyl of Gucci’s new-season kilt and the pea-green hues…
