Such was the case today when she and Prince William visited volunteers at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in London. Middleton showed her support for Ukraine by wearing a blue-and-yellow pin on a blue sweater. She also wore block-heel pumps and a pair of wide-leg trousers that can best be described as puddle pants. Puddle pants (and jeans) are basically loose and so long that they pool around the ankles. Scrolling through the new-in sections of our favourite high-street brands, it’s clear that the feel-good aesthetic is continuing into summer 2022.I’m particularly enjoying the throw-on, wearable silhouettes in an eclectic mix of beiges and brights offered up by the likes of Marks and Spencer, Arket and Mango this season.
