Sculpt Society ReviewJanuary 10, 2022 at 11:26AM Sharing my thoughts on Sculpt Society and if I’d recommend this workout! Hi friends! How was the weekend? I hope you had a wonderful one. We celebrated Liv’s birthday with friends and also enjoyed a long hike with Maisey. It was the perfect weekend. For today’s post, I’m excited to share a new-to-me workout format: Sculpt Society! I was ad-targeted for this one forever, and since I always love trying new workouts and absolutely love dance cardio, I figured I’d give it a whirl. This workout program was founded by Megan Roup (you can check out her Instagram here) and I’ll share a full review below. Heads up that this review isn’t sponsored; I signed up for a 7-day free trial and am going to keep my subscription for a couple of months. I’ve tried a…

Friday Faves

Friday FavesJanuary 07, 2022 at 06:05PM Hi friends! Happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend? We’re finishing putting the Christmas stuff away – it’s taken a while lol- and celebrating Livi’s birthday! I can’t believe this little goose is turning 10 tomorrow. They say time flies and they don’t lie. We brought her home from the hospital to the very house we’re in now, where Bella used to guard over her in her bassinet. Her birth story in on the blog here. This girl is brilliantly smart, the kindest friend, an incredible gymnast and dancer, loves books, being the best big sister, and I can’t wait to see what she continues to do.  (Someone hold me. And yes, I’ll be making our yearly photo collage tomorrow!!) It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I share some of…

Looking back on 2021 and my goals for 2022January 04, 2022 at 11:34AM Hi friends! How’s the year going so far? 😉 The kids are back at school this week, I’m back into teaching and training clients, and it’s FREEZING here. It’s like all of a sudden Tucson got the memo that it’s winter. The past week was absolutely lovely, with lots of time outside (before it turned into an arctic tundra), sleeping in, and get-togethers with friends. It feels good to get back into a routine but man, we all loved winter break.  For today’s post, I thought I’d do a recap of the past year and share some of my goals for 2022. I always love talking about goals and sharing my personal ones in this space. It’s nice to have a little accountability out there, and I always love to…

Friday Faves

Friday FavesDecember 31, 2021 at 05:36PM Hi friends! Happy Friday and Happy New Years’ Eve! What are you up to this weekend?? Any fun plans for tonight? We’re meeting up with some friends for a family party (kids + adults) and spending the rest of the weekend cleaning up Christmas (wah) and getting ready to go back to school/life etc.  I feel like I’ve been completely lazy all week this week… and it’s been pretty glorious. Our house is a disaster, we’ve been sleeping in every single day, and I’ve been living the pajama life. The past month was extra busy and it felt good to enjoy some quiet, calm, and some non-productive times after all of the craziness. I feel rested and ready to get back into it next week! It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party! This is where I…

Top Posts and Pages of 2021December 29, 2021 at 05:48PM Hi friends! How’s the day going? It’s rainy and lovely here, so we’re enjoying a slow morning before meeting up with friends.  As we finish out the year, it’s always fun and insightful to back and see which posts and pages performed the best. It gives me some insight into the types of posts you like to see here on the blog, and also how people find me! I use this as inspiration to create content throughout the year, along with your incredible survey suggestions and feedback. 100% of the time, it also encourages me to keep being my random all-over-the-place self. 😉  Top Posts and Pages of 2021 1. I hope you’re having a wonderful morning. Today, I’m chatting about treadmill workouts since it’s getting chilly out there and many of us are taking our workouts indoors. While I can get very bored on the treadmill just slogging along, I LOVE treadmill workouts designed with a purpose. A treadmill is an awesome way to get in an effective cardio workout and exercise indoors, and HIIT treadmill workouts can help break up the monotony of a steady-paced run. What is HIIT Training? HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training. HIIT workouts alternate between periods of hard work and rest. You’ll work as hard as you can, take a little time to catch your breath, and repeat. The beauty of…
