We’re Predicting That September May Just Bring the Most Glamorous Celebrity Style of the Year

September 02, 2021 at 08:25PM It’s only the start of September, but celebrity style has already taken a more glamorous direction than swimsuits and cover-ups. Not to knock beachy looks, but with the return of red carpets in Venice, the GQ Men of the Year Awards, and a couple of movie premieres, too, the fall is about to get a little more Fashion. The proof is in looks from the likes of Gabrielle Union in a Valentino gown that’ll land your jaw on the floor or Beanie Feldstein, who showed up to the premiere of Impeachment: American Crime Story channeling Old Hollywood vibes in a Brandon Maxwell dress. But, don’t underestimate the great fashion in more casual moments, too. Cynthia Erivo’s take on denim is a standout in its own right, as is Bella Hadid’s street-styled skirt moment. Here, take a closer look…

Selena Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building Looks Just Made a Very Convincing Case For a Furry Coat

September 02, 2021 at 06:55PM It would be hard to steal a scene from legends like Steve Martin and Martin Short, unless, of course, you’re Selena Gomez’s perfectly fuzzy coat in Only Murders in the Building. After binging the quirky murder-mystery comedy on Hulu, we need more of this foursome - and by foursome, we mean Steve, Martin, Selena, and Selena’s outerwear collection. Selena certainly holds her own with the iconic comedic duo, providing some much-needed millennial sarcasm and a little edge, with a wardrobe crafted by costume designer Dana Covarrubias that toes the line between fashion-conscious New Yorker and laid-back 20-something who’s also too busy solving crime to be concerned with her outfit. In that way, the clothes are effortless - take the coat, for instance. It’s a standout piece that speaks for itself, so it pairs well with the basics, i.e.…

Winnie Harlow Didn’t Need a Crown to Look Like a Princess in This Regal Orange Dress

September 02, 2021 at 06:40PM When it comes to color palettes, Winnie Harlow’s wardrobe knows no limits. Whether it’s a blue velour bikini, a pink tweed Chanel suit, or even her latest orange dress, she has some serious range that we’ve admired for years. After Seeing These Photos, I’m Certain Emerald Is Tiffany Haddish’s Color

September 02, 2021 at 05:50PM Tiffany Haddish is a vision in Venice. The actress recently attended a film festival event for The Card Counter wearing the most beautiful emerald shade. The green silk dress by Azeeza features thin spaghetti straps, an empire waist, and a full midi-length skirt, which Tiffany of course tossed and twirled all along the red carpet. “She Stay Ready,” Tiffany wrote on Instagram, “for VENICE!!!” Styled by Law Roach, the outfit was completed by metallic gold Le Silla heels, a white Laurus microbag, and statement-making chain-link jewelry by Pomellato. Ahead, see photos of Tiffany’s exuberant red carpet appearance and browse her exact Azeeza dress, as well as other emerald options. The Colors That Dominated the Fall 2021 Runways Are Here

September 01, 2021 at 11:45PM To put it plainly, last season’s collections were cautiously optimistic. Designers stuck to basic silhouettes and a serene color palette of soothing powder blues, sage greens, and mellow corals for the most part. The result was like the Calm app in clothing form: a comforting sartorial message of hope amid a (very) turbulent year. And for the fall/winter 2021 season, that hope remains a constant with classic, muted shades like soft grays (as chic suiting at Vetements) and frosty pale pinks (as a bejeweled dress at Erdem). But the most startling difference this go-around is the blatant, unadulterated joy in the pieces, which manifested in bolts of brilliant yellows, fiery reds, and fuchsia - colors so fiercely bold and feminine, they could almost be seen as an affront to the sweats we’ve been living in for the past…

True Story: BTS Made Me Buy a Bucket Hat

September 01, 2021 at 10:30PM Like dreams and lime after tequila, fashion trends are meant to be chased. I’m a huge trend chaser and have been especially enamored with the nostalgia-soaked, Y2K flashbacks that have been exploding on the sartorial landscape. But bucket hats … I was skeptical. They were a 2000s flashback trend I wasn’t looking forward to doing again. I’m ready for inflatable furniture, mesh shirts in trippy rave patterns, nylon micro-shoulder bags, and colorful oval sunglasses, but something about bucket hats just wasn’t clicking for me. Maybe because I remember bucket hats as being pointedly not sexy. In my recent memory, they were just for floppy things dads wear fishing and babies wear to keep the sun at bay.
