Amandla Stenberg Wears Gucci’s Nipple-Pasties Dress With the Utmost Elegance

September 23, 2021 at 03:33PM Amandla Stenberg has reached for Gucci during the press tour for Dear Evan Hansen, and we’re really not surprised. Amandla has a penchant for daring red carpet looks, and she pulls them off with confidence every time. Some of Gucci’s most talked-about pieces in recent history were included in the pre-fall 2021 collection, and, for the movie’s Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday, Amandla went for the nipple-pasties sequined dress, which was originally teamed with bicep-length, fingerless gloves and nothing on top for the fashion house’s lookbook. Amandla, however, went a different route, choosing to layer a wool Gucci blazer on top of the slinky number to add sophistication. Their metallic embellished heels still picked up on the glimmering sheen of the skirt, and their smoldering eye makeup and pinned-up braids brought some edge. While the Gucci nipple pasties…

Did Old Navy Weave Its Activewear With Magic? Because These Leggings Are Quality

September 23, 2021 at 03:30PM One of the most relaxing (and sometimes most dreaded) parts of my day is going for a run. I typically throw on whatever workout clothes are clean and jog out the door. But lately I’ve been trying to spice up my workout clothes - look good, feel good, am I right? After investing in pricey leggings that left a dent in my bank account, I decided to hit up Old Navy for a pair (I own bike shorts from them that I love), and talk about a match made in heaven! Comfortable, stretchy, breathable, extra high-waisted with a hidden pocket in the back - I was displaced by these Extra High-Waisted PowerSoft Light Compression Hidden-Pocket Leggings for Women ($20-$40, originally $40) quality. I couldn’t believe they were from Old Navy - they felt so expensive! For reference, I’m…

35 Things You’ll Regret Not Picking Up on Sale at Old Navy This Week

September 23, 2021 at 01:00AM Fall is finally here, no matter what the current forecast is. And, because we know the air will soon crisp, we’re sharpening our focus on cozy fashion like sweaters and hoodies, shirts to layer, and jeans and leggings, too. Of course, since we also love saving money no matter the season, we headed to Old Navy’s sale section to see which markdowns were calling our name. Out of thousands of pieces, we picked these 35 as standouts, and our faves start at $8. Then, for the best news ever, take an extra 25 percent off any of these purchases - or 35 percent off $100 or more - with the code WOOHOO (through Sept. 23, 2021). Happy fall … and happy shopping! Nobody Believes This Target Blazer Is Only $35 (But Seriously, It’s True!)

September 22, 2021 at 04:15PM Fall has arrived, which means it’s officially time to trade in those flouncy sundresses and tan-grazing, off-the-shoulder tops for some layers. But, while most people opt for a cute leather jacket or plush shacket, I’m partial to blazers. I know, I know, blazers don’t have the best reputation, sartorially speaking. Sure, they might look good on HRC, but wearing them outside of the boardroom can give you some serious Working Girl vibes - and not necessarily in a hip or modern way. However, when you find the right blazer, it can seriously elevate your outfit, striking that perfect balance between casual and undeniably chic. Fortunately, I found a little bit of fashion perfection in this A New Day Women’s Plaid Blazer ($35). The first thing that struck me about this layer was its enduring versatility. Don’t be fooled…

These Runway Looks Were Meant to Be Worn by These 7 Celebs – Don’t You Agree?

September 22, 2021 at 10:35PM After a year of mostly virtual runways, New York Fashion Week returned to the streets of Manhattan, and we all eagerly waited to spot our favorite celebrities and see what our go-to brands have been cooking up behind the scenes. It felt particularly emotional to watch a show in person, still in disbelief that this is a thing again while basking in the glitz and glam of it all. From established artists like Michael Kors to runway debutants like Peter Do, designers helped us reimagine dressing up for today’s times. We saw cool plays on knitwear with Victor Glemaud, colorful sequins with Tom Ford, slinky crochet pieces with Jonathan Simkhai, and sharp tailoring with Peter Do, among other statement-making looks. We also saw a reemergence of activism through fashion with designers like Chromat and Prabal Gurung weaving powerful…

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Are Our Fall Outfit Mood in Matching Knits and Masks

September 22, 2021 at 06:45PM Let’s just use this moment to salute parents Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas for their in-sync street style. The duo were spotted out in New York City rocking ribbed knits, aka the trend du jour. Their casual takes - Sophie’s a breezy short-sleeve mint cardigan and Joe’s a waffle pattern with chartreuse stripes - were finished appropriately with slacks and sneakers. While Sophie was in distressed, low-slung denim and her Air Force 1s, Joe chose a structured, belted trouser and Vans. Both were smart to keep their face masks on hand, although Sophie also accessorized with some pastel accessories you might notice, like her leather hobo tote and lucite sunglasses. Of course, the icing on the cake here is Sophie’s dad hat, some merch from the Jonas Brothers “Remember This” tour, which is available to pre-order for $35…
