Cardi B’s Fashion Week Outfits Light Up the Streets of Paris Like the Eiffel Tower

October 01, 2021 at 05:15PM If you pay careful attention to Cardi B’s Instagram Stories, then you likely enjoyed her dinnertime chatter with Offset. The new parents sat outside at Girafe Restaurant with views straight across to the Eiffel Tower, which was lighting up more often than usual on the night she chose to wear her glitter-all-over Chanel catsuit and beret. We’d argue that Cardi’s look on this particular evening shined brighter than any Paris landmark, but the outfits she wore in the days prior showed fierce competition. Cardi’s stylist Kollin Carter also dressed her in ornamental Schiaparelli gear and two Thierry Mugler gowns from the ‘90s archives that we still can’t stop thinking about. Cardi and Offset posed for their photographer Tomás Herold wherever they went, taking their couture parade to the streets of Fashion Week. Since we’re all excited to see…

Not to Be Dramatic, but These Old Navy Leggings Are Better Than My Fancy Ones

October 01, 2021 at 05:10PM They say a dog is a man’s best friend, and I believe leggings are a woman’s. The comfortable pants have become part of my everyday wardrobe (much to my wallet’s dismay), and I rarely ever wear anything else. Perfect for that athleisure look I opt for when I don’t know what to wear, leggings are the go-to piece I can count on for when I want to look just good enough yet put in little to no effort. Unfortunately, athleticwear usually comes with an unreasonable price tag, and while I have succumbed to paying the price a time or two, I can’t always justify buying overpriced leggings when other brands carry them for much less. I used to think that buying more affordable workout pants would mean that I would be risking the quality, but after trying a…

Corset Tops Are the Sexy Fall Trend That Looks Good on Everyone

September 30, 2021 at 09:35PM Although the corset dates back to the 1600s - defined as a tightly fitting top with a boned bodice that supports and flatters the waist - it’s transformed through the years. And while it can most recently be traced to the stage that is Netflix’s Bridgerton, the Regenycore trend has lent itself to a more modern interpretation of the look. Some of our favorite iterations come in denim or leather with thick piping and straps, bound by a zipper at the back rather than lace ties. We’re seeing people style them over big button-downs to cinch in and trace the shape of their figures or with nothing underneath, teamed with loose, low-slung pants or a blazer. If you want to forgo sleeves altogether, you also have the option of layering an underbust corset over a tee for extra…

Taylor Swift and Tommy Dorfman Redefine a Typical Bridesmaid Dress at Lena Dunham’s Wedding

September 30, 2021 at 05:16PM When Lena Dunham married musician Luis Felber at Soho’s Union Club in London, she wore three custom Christopher Kane gowns and enlisted the Scottish designer to create bridesmaid dresses, too. It was important for Lena to have her closest pals in attendance at the 60-person reception, which was detailed exclusively to Vogue and photographed by Jonny Ruff. Taylor Swift, Tommy Dorfman, actor Myha'la Herrold, and more family and friends assembled as the bridal party, forgoing those classic, silk “getting ready” robes for beautiful floral dresses from The Vampire’s Wife, which they’d then swap for the silver Christopher Kane midis that are nothing short of extraordinary. Taylor’s own design came with a gemstone waistband and shoulder straps, and Tommy’s was a high-neck halter silhouette. The metallic pleated lamé fabric is signature for the Christopher Kane brand (as you’ll see…
