November 05, 2021 at 05:04PM Let’s stop with the dating app thirst traps. This is not just me talking — take it from Nina Dobrev, who often finds herself working behind the scenes on her friends’ profiles. During our video call, the Canadian actor and former FASHION cover star shares that she’s never made an online dating account for herself, but she’s drafted messages and curated photo selections for many of her pals. “We have too many shirtless selfies, like, we’ve got to narrow this down,” is a common critique she gives to her guy friends while examining their profiles. “No girl really cares that much.” (Thank you, Nina, for doing the Lord’s work.) Built on the foundation of judging someone by their appearance, it’s no secret that dating apps can make it hard to form genuine connections. This is the premise of…

You Can Stay at Carrie’s Sex and the City Pad, but Leave Her Money Woes at the Door

November 05, 2021 at 03:51PM Ah, to live like Carrie Bradshaw. The leading lady of Sex and the City, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, seemed to exist in a world where a lavish lifestyle was easily attainable, regardless of her bank account balance (as we know, she preferred her money hanging in her closet). Now, with the series’ HBO Max revival And Just Like That
slated to drop in December, Sex and the City fans can look forward to being immersed once again in the life of Carrie Bradshaw
literally. As announced by SJP on Instagram, Airbnb has recreated the unlucky-in-love columnist’s Upper East Side brownstone pad in Chelsea, complete with various knick-knacks seen in the original show — including a closet full of designer items and her work laptop propped open on the desk. The best part? Fans can win the chance to…

Jacqueline Durran Tours the Chanel Archives in Spencer

November 04, 2021 at 09:17PM There’s no doubt that Princess Diana was among the greatest fashion icons of the 20th century, whether she wore embellished gowns, bodycon dresses or a simple jacket over high-waisted jeans. In Pablo Larrain’s Spencer, audiences are invited to peek behind the royal walls of what might have happened over three days around Christmas 1991, as Diana Spencer (played brilliantly by Kristen Stewart) and her sons stayed at the queen’s annual holiday destination, Sandringham House, where its believed Diana made the decision to leave Prince Charles following his affair with Camilla Parker Bowles. Over the course of three days, Spencer — premiering in theatres today, November 5 — depicts the Princess of Wales’ inner turmoil as she battles bulimia and self-harm. It’s the outfits in the film that offer her a crutch, giving her the support she needs to exude confidence…
