Hot and humid one minute, crisp and cool the next - the weather makes picking out an outfit can seem like a guessing game. On the days when it’s a bit too warm for cozy cords but too chilly for shorts, I reach for the one thing in my closet that fits the bill: a swingy mini dress with long sleeves. Actor Elliot Page happened to be one such guest - when they arrived on the red carpet in a sleek black suit, complete with Balenciaga’s latest riff on Crocs, he begged the question: model or showgoer? For a stripped-down rendition of “Justified,” she sat on stage wearing nothing but Celine boots and her guitar, a scene which she later revealed was inspired by Jenny from Forrest Gump. While Kacey paid homage to the movie character’s strip-club performance, the signature cowboy boots were all her. I mean, if you’re going to wear just one clothing item on stage, make it Celine.
