Rosalía’s Sheer Turtleneck Dress Is Business on Top Party on the Bottom

When you have a Zoom call at 7 but a red carpet at 8, consider dressing like Rosalía. For the Billboard Women in Music event in Los Angeles on March 1, the singer layered an ultra-cropped turtleneck over a totally sheer dress, making for quite the “business on top, party on the bottom” look.

Her black ribbed sweater came with long sleeves that extended well past her hands and a bottom hem so short, it showed off some underboob. The dress was essentially a single layer of see-through tulle covered in black rhinestones, and it exposed her black high-waisted briefs and thigh tattoo. She styled the outfit with knee-high patent leather boots, neutral makeup, and a curly bun.

During the ceremony, Rosalía won the inaugural producer of the year title and accepted her award – a diamond chain necklace encased in a gold picture frame – on stage from record producer WondaGurl. “This is the first time I get a chain as an award,” she said during her speech, per Billboard. “When I started in music, I had no idea what producing was. It was with time that I learned, and now I cannot imagine another way to make my music that’s not producing… . I want to dedicate this award to all the women who are going to be producers.”

There were plenty of standout looks at this year’s Billboard Women in Music show. Chlöe dazzled in a Giambattista Valli gown covered in crystals and feathers, Latto teamed a corset top with a voluminous low-rise skirt, and Sabrina Carpenter bared her midriff in a black and white cutout Cong Tri dress. As host of the event, Quinta Brunson walked the red carpet in a cheetah-print Sergio Hudson dress and later changed into a beige structural minidress. Other attendees included Olivia Rodrigo, Coi Leray, Becky G, Lana Del Rey, Kim Petras, and Dove Cameron.
