Reset Your Fitness Goals with Apple Fitness+: A Sneak Peek at Exciting New Programs

The start of the new year is the perfect time to reset your healthy living goals, and Apple Fitness+ is here to help. The subscription fitness and wellness service just cranked out a massive selection of new programs and workouts, assisting users in trying new things and maintaining engagement as they dive into 2025.

The new programs will roll out on January 6 on iPhones, iPads, Apple TV, and Apple Watches, providing you a little time to prepare. However, given the wide array of new offerings, it can be overwhelming to navigate, whether you’re new to the service or a seasoned user. With that in mind, here are the standout new programs to keep on your radar.

‘Three Perfect Weeks of Strength’

Strength training is having a moment right now, and this new program is designed to get you up to speed. It’s a progressive three-week plan that targets major muscle groups through 12 half-hour workouts. This program aims to deliver tangible results and can be repeated with heavier weights as you advance.

‘Strength, Endurance, and Agility for Pickleball’

Pickleball gained substantial popularity in 2022 and is now one of the world’s fastest-growing sports. This Apple Fitness+ program features professional pickleball champion Catherine Parenteau, who guides you through a mix of her training exercises, aiming to enhance your pickleball performance.

‘Yoga Peak Poses’

This program focuses on the details of single peak poses in yoga, including dancer’s pose (Natarajasana), revolved hand to big toe pose (Parivrtta Hasta Padangusthasana), and crow pose (Kakasana). Each session includes a 10-minute prep flow to warm up, followed by a dedicated 10-minute practice session.

‘Introduction to Breath Meditation’

Research indicates that meditation and breath work can lower stress levels, yet it may be challenging to know where to commence. The program “Introduction to Breath Meditation” provides straightforward techniques to alleviate stress and enhance focus, with each session lasting just 10 minutes.

Moreover, Apple Fitness+ will introduce new Artist Spotlight series, featuring workout playlists dedicated to renowned artists, including Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar. Additionally, new episodes of “Time to Walk,” featuring inspiring stories and music from celebrities, will be launched, featuring guests such as Steve Aoki, Lana Condor, Rita Ora, Daddy Yankee, and Maddie Ziegler. For those who prefer dance, So You Think You Can Dance’s Alex Wong will be unveiling a 20-minute dance workout.
