45 of the Coolest French Fashion Brands Everyone Should Know

December 15, 2021 at 04:03AM We can talk all day about how much we adore French brands. We’ve gleaned countless styling tricks from the country's chicest stars and style gurus, whom we look to for excellent Parisian style. But what about the best French fashion brands that enable all the above? There are loads of them. From the super-luxe established designer Parisian fashion houses (Dior, Saint Laurent and Chanel) through to newer and more affordable startups such as SĂ©zane or The Frankie Shop, there’s a veritable gamut of Gallic labels to get to grips with. And that’s before we even get started on the incredible midrange section the French industry has licked. Think of some of the names you know, such as Maje, Sandro and Claudie Pierlot. They’re the cherry on top of a particularly tasty contemporary-fashion sundae.French creator of Musier Paris Anne-Laure Mais carrying a Chanel bag. So to indulge our love…

A Guide to the Power Wardrobes on Selling Tampa, Where They’re “Closing Deals in Heels”

December 15, 2021 at 08:50PM The Allure agents on Netflix’s Selling Tampa work hard and love to dress confidently to show just how serious they are about their business. As an all-female, minority-run real estate agency, it’s both empowering and exciting to see the luxury designer pieces the women own and expertly style (no, they don’t work with a costume designer for onscreen scenes, which is the case on other reality TV shows). CEO Sharelle Rosado and the rest of the cast - Alexis, Anne-Sophie, Colony, Juawana, Karla, Rena, and Tennille - bring the drama, gossip, and stir the pot just like the agents on the show’s counterpart Selling Sunset do, but they can all agree on “closing deals in heels” and their clear appreciation for Chanel. While Colony and Anne-Sophie shop for the first aired networking event at an $8.5 million home,…

Tina Snow Has Arrived – Megan Thee Stallion Commands the Stage in a Sparkling Snowflake Dress

December 15, 2021 at 08:29PM Fa la la la la and happy holidays from Megan Thee Stallion, aka our new honorary Mrs. Claus. Fully embracing the frosty winter air, Megan let out her inner Tina Snow in a sexy silver dress at the 2021 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball on Dec. 14, and her look basically transformed the stage into a winter wonderland. During her performance at the Capital One arena in Washington DC, the “Savage” singer shimmered like an ornament come to life in the plunging silver minidress, lined with a faux-feather trim and covered in neatly arranged mosaic mirrors that channeled the beauty of freshly broken ice on a frozen lake. Megan swapped Mrs. Claus’s hat for her signature cowgirl hat - also lined with an icy faux-feather trim - and drew our attention away from the dress’s shimmering corset bodice with a…

Pop Punk is the Latest Y2K Style Trend to Return

December 15, 2021 at 08:38PM Miley Cyrus and her new hair have us questioning if we’re in 2021 or 2004. The singer has rocked a ’70s-style shag for some time now, but when pictured out in New York City last week to guest on The Tonight Show, she served a look reminiscent of Y2K pop punk. A fresh take on the grunge cut, Cyrus added chunky black lowlights to her platinum blonde strands, and the internet quickly took notice. when miley cyrus debuts a new hair style the world stops for a while. pic.twitter.com/9eLywavIM4 — • (@unholysmiler) December 10, 2021 Since her rise to fame in the early 2000s, Cyrus’s hairstyles have reflected the different periods of her career — and the 29-year-old has been known to experiment with her locks. These Jewel-Toned Trousers Are My Ideal Holiday Look: Festive, but Not Over-the-Top

December 15, 2021 at 06:45PM The holiday season is my favorite time of year: I listen to Christmas music almost exclusively starting the day after Thanksgiving, and I make it my mission to admire all of the homes with extravagant, over-the-top decorations in my neighborhood. When it comes to holiday dressing, though, I go for a less obvious approach. My vibe is festive and fun but not too over-the-top: think a classic cable-knit top rather than tacky Christmas sweaters. That’s why I was thrilled to discover these tie-waist trousers ($40). The deep-plum color makes them feel special enough to wear to holiday drinks or a family party but isn’t quite as obvious as the traditional red-and-green look. Plus, these pants look great with everything from a sleek bodysuit and sneakers to a glitzy top and heeled boots. I’m tempted to snap them up…

WIAW

WIAWDecember 15, 2021 at 06:21PM WIAW = What I ate Wednesday. Sharing a full day of eats, from start to finish.  Hi friends! How’s the day going so far? I have 1:1 clients this morning and am starting wrapping extravaganza after school. I only have two days to do it, so I better get crack-a-lackin.  For today’s post, I thought I’d share a WIAW style post, since they’re already being requested in my annual survey and I haven’t done one in a while. To be honest, I’ve developed mixed feelings towards these types of posts. I really thought they were just designed to share new ideas and food combos, but then I realized that they can also become a source of comparison. (An account I follow on IG did a great post about this, and I completely agree with everything she said.) I…
