Barbie Ferreira Proves the Swim Skirt Is Indeed Back

January 27, 2022 at 10:00PM Sometimes it’s acceptable to take your work home with you: Barbie Ferreira just wore a swimsuit set that looks like it’s straight out of the “Euphoria” wardrobe department. In selfies shared to Instagram on Jan. 26, the actor and model posed in a rainbow bandeau-style top with halter straps and a matching swim skirt from Paloma Elsesser’s Heat Wave collection for Dos Swim. “Gagged,” Elsesser commented on the post. From the pixelated print to the body-con fit, we could definitely see this outfit on East Highland’s Kat Fernandez. Made with curvy bodies in mind, the bandeau top and matching high-waisted bikini bottoms are available in sizes XS to 3XL, while the cover-up comes in sizes S/M to 2XL/3XL. At $89 per item, the set is a bit of a splurge, but Ferreira has convinced us to treat ourselves…

Marsai Martin Models With Her Dad For Hollister: “Jeans Are Freakin’ Awesome”

January 27, 2022 at 08:30PM Dadditude, or the art of maximizing comfort and minimizing effort, is a notion Hollister is promoting in its new “Respect the Jeans” campaign. The production features ABC sitcom “Black-ish” star (and absolute girl boss) Marsai Martin with her dad and is the first memory of them modeling together. “This was the first time me and my dad were actually together in front of the camera because we’re both producers,” Martin tells POPSUGAR over Zoom. “I tend to be private about my family, but it was really cool to be creative with him.” The campaign highlights the launch of a new line of dad-inspired jeans, updated wide-leg styles that convey a sense of ease and youthful energy. As someone who’s had a defining influence on Martin’s style, Joshua Martin being part of the project made sense. “My dad is…

Stella McCartney Is Giving Minnie Mouse the Makeover She Deserves

January 27, 2022 at 07:14PM Image Source: Getty / Anthony Wallace / AFP Minnie Mouse is trading in her distinct red dress for something a bit more modern. To celebrate Disneyland Paris’s upcoming 30th anniversary, the beloved mouse will wear her first-ever pantsuit, created by fashion designer Stella McCartney, and it’s A Look™, if we do say so ourselves. The new ensemble consists of a royal blue blazer and trousers, both covered with large polka dots and lined with stripes, and a matching patterned hair bow. Minnie thankfully gets to ditch those cursed white bloomers, and will swap her usual bright yellow footwear for some more discreet navy shoes. Though Minnie’s style switch-up isn’t permanent - she’ll solely wear her new pantsuit around the Disneyland Paris theme park throughout March 2022 in honor of Women’s History Month - McCartney hopes it sends a…

Sydney Sweeney Chose This Chic Dress For Her First Late-Night Appearance

January 27, 2022 at 06:24PM For Sydney Sweeney’s first-ever late-night talkshow appearance, she did what she does best: exuded elegance in a classy designer dress. On Wednesday, the “Euphoria” actress stopped by “The Late Late Show With James Corden” to talk all things East Highland High School, her love for vintage cars, and so much more. While Sweeney was chatting about restoring a 1969 Ford Bronco and how costar Alexa Demie accidentally broke her toe, our eyes were admittedly glued to her black-and-white bra top dress from Christian Siriano’s pre-fall 2022 collection. The Siriano dress features a caged top with a black bra and two cutout straps on each side. Styled by her go-to, Molly Dickson, Sweeney paired the flattering midi dress with David Yurman jewelry and black pointed-toe pumps. When portraying Cassie Howard in the “Euphoria,” Sweeney wears colorful, sexy, Y2K ensembles,…

FKA Twigs Takes Us into Her Bright World in Caprisongs

January 27, 2022 at 05:16PM Listening to FKA Twigs’ newly released mixtape Caprisongs, where sound bytes of audio appear at the start or end of almost every track, it can feel like you’re hiding between the pages of her personal reflections, or overhearing a conversation between friends from inside her London home. In some sound bytes, a friend motivates you, saying, “This is the year of greatness, bruv, and bein’ free, I’m telling you.” Then in another, a girlfriend tells you that these toxic boys aren’t worthy of you, like in the song “Oh My Love.” The most striking byte that perhaps best encapsulates Caprisongs is when Twigs directly addresses her intentions in making this mixtape. In the opening track, “Ride the Dragon,” she softly lures us in and says, “When I feel you, I feel me, and when I feel me, it…

Kate Middleton’s Failsafe Dress-and-Boot Combo Comes Fashion Editor-Approved

January 27, 2022 at 11:36AM This week, the Duchess of Cambridge visited the offices of a charity called Shout, which is a text service in the UK that provides mental health support 24/7. Her appearance was to mark the milestone of reaching over one million conversations. How impressive is that? For the occasion, Kate Middleton wore a dress by Derek Lam along with suede boots by Ralph Lauren. Her outfit combo reminds me of Anna Wintour’s (and just about every other fashion editor’s_ very specific uniform: a printed midi dress and knee-high heeled boots. Wintour has worn countless variations of this combination, switching up details like sleeves, prints, and boot styles, though Middleton is no stranger to this formula either. She has chosen it for countless occasions and engagements in the past. With the approval of both Middleton and Wintour, it’s safe to say this is a foolproof outfit if…
