Megan Fox Embraces Dopamine Dressing in an Orange Suit and Neon Green Nails

February 22, 2022 at 05:10PM Megan Fox draws sartorial inspiration from many different sources, among them the Euphoria characters and most recently, the Bratz dolls. Yet, she brings her unique brand of sexy to each trend, whether it’s a cutout gown or a skintight lavender cutout top with matching tailored trousers. The actress recently made an appearance at the 2022 NBA All-Star Game with fiancĂ© Machine Gun Kelly, wearing an orange animal print suit featuring high-waist trousers and a long blazer. Of course it wouldn’t be a Megan Fox outfit if there wasn’t a bold spin. If you look closely, you’ll notice that the pants feature a daring waist cutout - in line with the 35-year-old star’s affinity for 2000s-inspired trends. Fox dialed up the allure further with a tiny black bandeau visible under the long blazer, baring her midriff. Surely, longtime stylist…

Mejuri x Jenna Lyons is the Must-Have Collab for Minimalists

February 22, 2022 at 04:26PM Mejuri and Jenna Lyons are a match made in minimalist heaven. Lyons herself was a 2010s tastemaker, and as J. Crew’s president and executive creative director, her personal style was the beating heart of the American retailer until her departure in 2017. Approachable yet sophisticated, Lyons’ wardrobe blurred the lines between casualwear and formalwear (I mean, she wore bejeweled J. Crew pajamas to the 2015 Met Gala!). And over the years, she’s attracted a cult following not unlike that of Mejuri. Noura Sakkijha co-founded the Canadian brand in 2015 with the idea to create fine jewellery fit for everyday wear. Most importantly, her direct-to-consumer model that targeted women was, then, quite revolutionary. Like Lyons, Sakkijha reimagined the possibilities of her industry. So, it was only a matter of time before two paired up. Allyson Felix. Photography courtesy of…

Yellow is the New It Colour for Spring

February 22, 2022 at 04:10PM Yellow has always signified warmth and happiness, making it the perfect colour to inject into your spring wardrobe. This season, designers such as Prada, Courrèges and Sergio Hudson showcased plenty of yellow-hued pieces on the runway. From butter-smooth faux leather trenches to satin platform pumps, there’s something for everyone. Also seen in street styles and on the market, and even in home decor, yellow is the hottest colour in spring 2022 fashion. There is no wrong way to wear yellow. Whether you go for a sophisticated head-to toe monochrome look or mix it up with sporty styles, such as a retro bowling shirt or a nylon anorak, there are many different ways that this color can work its magic. Mixing and matching different shades of yellow can pose a fun challenge for those who are feeling brave. Or…

Easy Hoisin Garlic Salmon and Coconut RiceFebruary 22, 2022 at 10:00AM Rushed for dinner but still want a healthy meal? This Easy Hoisin Garlic Salmon is quick, simple and pairs perfectly with my one-pot coconut rice. For a full meal add some sautĂ©ed garlic green beans on the side. Want to know the one thing I miss about living in California? The fact that there was always something in bloom. I became a diva about my produce and miss having endless seasonal, local produce to play with in the kitchen! Now we live in Minnesota and know what it’s like to eat frozen strawberries 10 months of the year and squash as your main source of vegetables during these cold winter months. It’s important to embrace your culture and get creative, but also celebrate when the seasons turn and more variety appears. Unlike California,…

My journey to drinking less alcohol

My journey to drinking less alcoholFebruary 22, 2022 at 11:47AM Sharing a bit about my journey to drinking less alcohol and tips for reducing your alcohol intake if that’s one of your goals.  Hi friends! How’s the week going so far? I hope you’re having a great morning so far! I’m here working on content for our 6-week group – ALL of the info will be posted here next Tuesday, so mark your calendars!  For today’s post, I wanted to chat a bit about alcohol and some of the things I’ve done to reduce my alcohol intake over time. My journey to drinking less alcohol Let’s take a little walk into the past and my history with alcohol: – I’ve never really been someone to *overdo* it on alcohol. While I’ve definitely had my moments (in college mostly lol) of overdoing it, I…

This In-Salon Service Is My Go-To Hairdressing Treat– Here’s Why

February 22, 2022 at 10:15AM I am obsessed with my natural hair texture. I love how voluminous it can look and how versatile it is to style but what I don’t always love is how tedious it can be to care for. When my hair was relaxed, years before I grew it out it was way less healthy but ultimately it was super easy to style. No matter how lazy I was feeling or what the weather was doing I didn’t have to worry or think about it twice. And I miss that. Not enough to start relaxing again but enough to start to try out temporary straightening treatments to alleviate the need to style my hair at home. Which is when I started booking in for a silk press.Simply put, a silk press is a salon services where natural Afro-textured hair is straightened thoroughly, giving…

My Mum Is 46 Years Older Than I Am, But We Both Use These 8 Skincare Products

February 22, 2022 at 08:00AM My mum is no stranger to the Who What Wear scene. Of course, she’s a member of my family, so it’s a given that she has to put up with me talking about and testing beauty products 24/7, but since she has her own background and experience in beauty, trading secrets, application tips, and fave products with her is all the more fun. As I am a beauty editor, you’d think I’d be the one teaching her all of the things, but in reality, she’s taught me some of my most treasured beauty secrets and has turned me on to some of my most beloved products. (Plop her in a drugstore aisle, and she'll pull together an all-star ensemble of cheap makeup picks that will look so expensive on your face.)As someone who had years of experience in front of the…

French Women Were Right All Along: This Is the Best Dress Trend Ever

February 22, 2022 at 08:00AM The knitted-dress trend has come back in a seriously big way in 2022. You might not have realised this, because in many ways, it’s the kind of frock that never really goes out of fashion. However, there’s one key component of this year’s style that French women have been wearing forever. When it comes to knitted dresses in France, les Françaises are more likely to opt for a fitted version. No saggy, loose-fitting sacks for our friends across the channel, thank you very much. Instead, it’s about considered knitwear that is more body-con and has some kind of structure. Case in point: Khaite’s chic black version, which I spotted on Camille Charrière some time ago. The sweetheart neckline is what really makes this dress sing, but I love the demure nature of the long sleeves, too. This season, the brand has brought…
