With the two year anniversary of the first wave of salon closures coming up later this month, it’s fair to say our strands have be subjected to their fair share of damage. But this year, the hairscape is looking optimistically different.For starters, appointment availability is aplenty, and it finally feels as though our hair routine (for the most part) is back to normal. Okay, so I understand the reservations some people might have around the 'Canadian tuxedo'—most of which relate to a certain Justin and Britney look c.2001 or, alternatively, the memory of a questionable teenage outfit they’d rather forget—but I find that double denim is one of the coolest, and easiest, looks you can wear for spring. If you love co-ords and boilersuits, or embraced the tonal dressing trend, then I’m certain you’ll love double denim. The British-born brand has developed a knack for creating a variety of pieces that are unique and still work for the everyday. Statement prints ate an integral part of the brand’s DNA and are some of the best I’ve seen on the high street. With heaps of different attachments available to deliver whatever effect your heart so desires, it delivers good bang for its buck. However, the attachments the Airwrap is best known for, the barrels that utilise Dyson’s Coander technology to create big, bouncy volume, are by far my least favourite. You see, my hair is thin, poker-straight and long, meaning that finding ways to give my hair volume with as little effort as humanly possible is a pretty high beauty priority for me.But the truth is, I find the barrel attachments a bit of a nuisance.
