Dua Lipa Styled Those Viral Rose Sandals With a Lace-Up Dress

April 07, 2022 at 07:38PM Dua Lipa’s latest pair of Loewe heels take surrealism to another level. The singer posted photos on Instagram wearing plenty of eye-catching outfits, captioning the album “olive oil ice cream for the win.” Lipa styled a chic black dress with her $1,600 Loewe heels that instantly caught our attention. The rose heel sandals are from Jonathan Anderson’s latest collection for the women’s spring/summer 2022 collection and come with two goatskin straps and a 100mm heel with crushed crepe petals applied by hand. Needless to say, they are a work of art. The 26-year-old star posted an up-close video of the shoes to give fans a closer look within her album that also included a few additional outfits: a white lace shirt, a black bikini, and lacy blue underwear with ultra low-rise blue jeans. Of course our favorite look…

What to Buy on Secondhand Shopping Sites This Spring

April 07, 2022 at 07:08PM It takes some time and patience, but there’s no better feeling than finding that truly unique piece of clothing secondhand. Whether you’re digging through the racks at the thrift store or taking advantage of new online destinations, the benefits of secondhand shopping are endless. But most importantly, each pre-owned piece you buy means one less in a landfill. And with Earth Month well underway, we’ve gathered some key stats and upcoming trends to make it easier for you to find those eco-friendly treasures. Abercrombie & Fitch’s Rebrand Brings Back Bad Memories

April 07, 2022 at 06:40PM In grade school, my sense of style was entirely based on my desire to fit in. Back then, that meant wearing Ugg boots, skinny jeans and a t-shirt emblazoned with the name of a tween-approved brand. And if I was lucky, that brand would be Abercrombie & Fitch. Entering an Abercrombie & Fitch store in 2010 was an attack on all your senses. First, you had to go past the half-naked models that sometimes guarded its doors. Inside, the dimmed lights made it hard to see, the music was loud and disorienting, and the perfume permeating the store was so potent you could almost taste it. On special occasions like my birthday, I would pick out a few variations of Abercrombie tops for my adolescent wardrobe. As a sheepish tween shopping there with my mom, I felt out…

Rihanna Pairs a Bra Top With Low-Rise, Drop-Crotch Pants For Dinner

April 07, 2022 at 06:11PM Rihanna’s growing baby bump continues to be at the center of her looks, whether she’s attending the Oscars afterparty in a sheer Valentino dress or gracing Gucci’s front row in a latex and lace crop top during Milan Fashion Week. The business mogul, who recently made the Forbes billionaires list, takes every opportunity to showcase her changing body - rewriting the rules of maternity dressing as we know them. In her most recent display of absolute body confidence, Rihanna wore a deep blue, bump-baring set for dinner at Nobu in Los Angeles. The ribbed design is the creation of Maison Alaïa and features a cropped bra top with a plunging halter neck and custom low-rise, drop-crotch pants. Comfort was central to the look as each piece was cut in a seemingly stretchy fabric and a relaxed silhouette. The…

Abercrombie & Fitch Responds to Netflix Documentary About Its Problematic Past

April 07, 2022 at 05:05PM Abercrombie & Fitch is the subject of Netflix’s upcoming “White Hot” documentary debuting on Tuesday, April 19. Popular in the late ‘90s and early '00s, the brand - under CEO Mike Jeffries’s lead - perpetuated racism and sizeism through marketing campaigns and discriminatory hiring practices. But current A&F CEO Fran Horowitz is hoping to usher in a new era for the company that is now favored by Gen-Z and inspiring clothing hauls on TikTok. In response to “White Hot,” A&F posted a statement on Instagram acknowledging its problematic history and clarifying that the “Abercrombie today” is inclusive and welcoming to everyone. “While the problematic elements of that era have already been subject to wide and valid criticism over the years, we want to be clear that they are actions, behaviors and decisions that would not be permitted or…

Jake Wesley Rogers is FASHION’s May Cover Star

April 07, 2022 at 02:30PM When Jake Wesley Rogers pops onto my laptop screen on a grey day in February, I am instantly blinded by colour. And not just any colour — bright fire-hydrant red. Between the wall behind him in his L.A. home and the top of his head (thanks to a recent hair refresh), the 25-year-old singer is basked in a crimson halo, made more vibrant by his purple, green and orange V-neck sweater. The only neutral in this entire pop-art tableau is the black of his thick aviator-style glasses. Photography by Greg Swales. Jacket, $4,500, Dior Men. Top, $1,085, Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello. Eyewear, $340, Gentle Monster. Necklace, price upon request, Lazoschmidl.Despite this colourful chaos, Rogers is incredibly calm. He periodically sips herbal tea from an old mug throughout our conversation and takes great pleasure in talking about his…

April 07, 2022 at 10:45AM I am struggling to think of an occasion when I didn’t appreciate (and directly want to copy) an outfit of Sienna Miller’s. Her success rate for influencing myself, or any member of the Who What Wear team, must sit around the 99.9 per cent mark. From casual get-ups that feel effortlessly thrown on to bohemian eveningwear options, her ensembles never feel contrived. Miller’s choices can echo trends but are never slavish to them, and her latest look is yet another masterclass in how to cherry pick the latest items and looks that work for your personal style.Arriving for an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, Sienna stepped out onto the streets of NYC in a stunning white, ruched dress that could have easily felt bridal, but with her clever make-under techniques she transformed a fancy look into one…
