Surprising, perhaps, given the fact that I usually err towards a more polished aesthetic with my outfits, however I cannot overstate the versatility of this one-piece wonder. Dungarees may have originally been created for workmen (complete with tool-holding bib), but these days they come in all shapes and sizes, and able to be styled in a plethora of ways. You know when an item of clothing appears on the Chanel runway that it’s officially graduated into the upper echelons of the fashion world, but I’m not sure I would’ve expected dungarees to be on that list.
