Travis Scott Drops a Full Cactus Jack x Fragment Collection – Because It’s Not Just About the Jordans

July 29, 2021 at 04:06PM In conjunction with the release of his already-sold-out Cactus Jack x Fragment Air Jordan 1 High sneaker - which you can now bid on for upward of $2K across the internet - Travis Scott surprised fans with a well-rounded collection, which is now fully stocked on his website. He worked on all 19 pieces with Fragment’s Hiroshi Fujiwara, also sharing a teaser video on Instagram. Two of the pieces are lent a special touch as part of a three-way collab with KAWS artwork’s defunct brand Original Fake, founded in 2006. All of the designs are inspired by a look into Scott and Fujiwara’s imaginations, and the result is graffiti-style artwork of bald eagles and tigers, which you can wear across the tees, totes, socks, beanies, keychains, and more. Even though you may not be able to get your…

Texture Talk: The Best Sweat-Proof Edge Control Products

July 29, 2021 at 03:00PM Laying your baby hairs is a real art form and as such, should be treated like one. The right combination of seamless swoops or curls can really help to elevate and polish any style, as well as help to frame your face. However, if not done correctly, or worse yet, with a product that doesn’t offer much in the way of staying power, it can really put a damper on your ‘do. The best edge control products should have a combination of three main qualities. Firstly (and most obviously) they should help to hold and keep your edges in place. Next, they should dry down clear without leaving any white residue, flaking or build up. And finally, they should contain moisturizing ingredients which will help keep hair healthy and shiny. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, not always. Finding…

We Can’t Get Enough of J.Lo and Ben Affleck Matching Their Accessories

July 29, 2021 at 10:11AM Unless you’ve been living in a cave with no internet for the past week, you’re probably aware that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are in Italy to celebrate her 52nd birthday. They’re really making the rounds in the country (as one does when they have a yacht), and one of their latest stops was Capri. While out sightseeing, accompanied by paparazzi and a very large crowd of eager fans, Bennifer put their 2.0 couple style on display. They both dressed casually—Affleck in a T-shirt and khaki pants and Lopez in a white shorts set and glamorous straw hat—with one matching item we couldn’t help but notice: aviator sunglasses. Both Lopez and Affleck have been wearing aviator sunglasses for years, so it’s probably just a coincidence, but either way, it’s cute, and we look forward to many more matching couples moments from these two. Kate Middleton Just Wore Another Piece We Can’t Believe She Found in Zara

July 29, 2021 at 08:00AM If you’re a regular reader of Who What Wear, you’re probably well acquainted with Kate Middleton’s wardrobe. She dresses pretty classically, but occasionally she’ll surprise us with something a bit different (case in point: this chic outfit with Warehouse and Chanel). The list of the designers she often turns to is pretty definite: often Alexander McQueen and Jenny Packham and occasionally Erdem, Emilia Wickstead and Roksanda. But it’s not just the more expensive end of the spectrum she’s a fan of. She regularly wears high-street pieces from a range of brands, from Superga sneakers to & Other Stories dresses. But, and I’m going to put my stake in the ground here, her favourite store has to be Zara. For years she’s worn pieces from the high-street brand and always makes them look super expensive. Yesterday she attended a Euros game with…

25 Stunning Haircuts Celebs in Their 50s Always Ask For

July 29, 2021 at 08:00AM We’ve encountered enough badass women in their 40s, 50, 60s, and beyond to know that there are tons of outdated clichĂ©s about aging. Gone are the days where women are pressured to dress a certain way the second we hit age 40 or stop wearing our favorite makeup. (Although, there are formulas that work better for mature skin.) The general attitude around aging has seen a major shift for the better in recent years, and there’s a sense of liberation that’s come along with it that we absolutely love. While the number of years we’ve been on this earth doesn’t have to control our lives, there are, indeed, some unavoidable shifts that come up the further along we get, including changes to our hair. For this reason, many women start to consider different haircuts by the time we hit age 50.“The hair sometimes tends to…

9 Brands That Prove Gorgeous Lingerie Shouldn’t Cost a Fortune

July 29, 2021 at 08:00AM The saying “you get what you pay for” applies to so many things in fashion, but one thing we struggle to justify it for is lingerie. Never has so little fabric amounted to so many pound signs as it does when you peruse luxury lingerie. And seeing as it’s something we wear, quite literally, every single day, it’s not something we’re prepared to spend our entire salary on, which is why we’ve scoured the digital shopping sphere to bring you the best affordable lingerie brands we can find.Emmanuelle Koffi wears a white lace lingerie set from Gooseberry Intimates. While they’ll save you some pennies in the process, if there’s one thing these affordable lingerie brands don’t skimp on, it’s style. From comfortable jersey triangle bralettes and big briefs to lace-trimmed teddies and even sultry see-through shorts, from an array…

The Holy-Grail Product My 73-Year-Old Mum Uses to Make Her Look 20 Years Younger

July 29, 2021 at 08:00AM I’m pretty lucky. Not only do I have a job where I get to experience, write, and learn about the newest and most exciting products, treatments, and trends hitting the beauty industry, but I also get to interview and get to know the artists and experts who execute and create them. That said, I also feel lucky to have a beauty-loving, 73-year-old makeup artist mom who I can consult about anything and everything. (My poor father never gets a word in when we have a family catch-up call. Sorry, Dad!) Being a 73-year-old product junkie and also a Tucson-based makeup expert who specialises in educating older women about makeup and skincare, my beautiful mum knows a thing or two when it comes to choosing the best products for mature skin. Oftentimes (but not always), when I try to foist my favourite…

10 Autumn Buys That Are Making Me Look Forward to September

July 29, 2021 at 06:15AM As several warehouses and stores shuttered over the past 12 months, the fashion industry faces huge challenges and strains that pose an inevitable threat to businesses. Many of us won’t be shopping in the same way right now, but even a like on Instagram or a message of support can provide a boost for these brands. I certainly don’t want anyone to feel like they have to buy more right now, but at the same time, after working in the fashion industry for nine years, I want to support the brands and pieces that I love and treasure. As an editor at Who What Wear, I typically spend a lot of time looking at new-in products, and so every week, I update this story with the pieces that have caught my eye and that really stand out. The weather…
