Megan Fox Wore a Shorter, Comfier Version of Her Met Gala Gown For the Afterparty

September 14, 2021 at 05:33PM Megan Fox didn’t hold back for her first Met Gala, wearing a sexy red Dundas gown with countless crisscross cutouts and debuting shocking baby bangs. And it looks like the festivities didn’t end on the Upper East Side. The Till Death actress swapped her lace-up dress for another red-hot outfit for the afterparty: this time, a one-shoulder mini embellished with similar sequin and crystal details, basically rocking a shorter, comfier version of her glamorous look from earlier in the night. While Megan attended the Met solo, she met up with boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly at the afterparty, where he joined in on the fun in a complementary outfit adorned with the same red sequins. While Megan’s hot Dundas gown was of course, custom, the short dress - that also features a cool exaggerated shoulder - is a Dundas…

The Meaning Behind Elliot Page’s Green Rose Boutonniere at the Met Gala

September 14, 2021 at 05:16PM Elliot Page looked effortlessly cool at the Met Gala on Monday. The actor wore a black Balenciaga suit and chunky sneakers, also by the brand, for his first-ever appearance at the famous fashion event. It was his boutonniere, however, that caught our attention, and added some symbolism to the otherwise understated outfit. The green rose pinned to Elliot’s suit is widely being interpreted as a nod to Oscar Wilde. The poet and playwright famously had one of his actors wear a green carnation on opening night of his 1892 comedy Lady Windermere’s Fan. He also had several of his friends wear green carnations on their lapels as well. Being that Oscar was believed to be gay, and prominently featured gayness as a theme in his work, the green carnation has since been claimed as a symbol for gay…

On Monday night, the 18-year-old wore a dramatic ‘60s-inspired look by Connor Ives, a creation that will also be on display at the Met’s “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion” exhibition. Created to explore the themes of an American debutante, the beautiful dress was covered in colorful floral sequins made from recycled PET plastic and featured a balloon-shaped silhouette and train that left Natalia with no choice but to stand the entire car ride to the event. And while she couldn’t sit in the gown, she certainly did the design justice with the help of Image Architect Law Roach, completing the…

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip PancakesSeptember 14, 2021 at 01:00PM Add some spice to your regular ole’ breakfasts with these Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Pancakes. They’re made with real pumpkin and sweetened with just a touch of maple syrup. You will fall head over heels for these fluffy and spicy pancakes! Do you ever realize how much power you hold when it comes to influencing others’ emotions? Author and Museum Curator Colleen Hill Talks About Her Love of ’90s Fashion

September 14, 2021 at 02:00PM Museum curator Colleen Hill loves ’90s fashion so much that she wrote a book about Tom Ford, John Galliano and other stars of the period. What are your earliest fashion memories? “I recall that the preschool I attended in Lansing, Michigan, where I grew up, had a dress-up room with beautiful stained glass windows, and it was full of jewel-toned chiffon scarves I was really interested in. Another standout moment was seeing the cover of an ABBA album — I loved their platform boots. (I still do!) And something that influenced both my style and my career was a book called Radical Rags: Fashions of the Sixties by Joel Lobenthal. I found it at the local library when I was about 10 years old. The cover has a great photograph of Lauren Hutton wearing a clear vinyl Betsey…

Well Played, Marks and Spencer—These £50 Boots Are Seriously Good

September 14, 2021 at 08:00AM Marks and Spencer is a British institution that is loved up and down the country for delivering quality staples, particularly underwear, pyjamas and cashmere jumpers. It creates classic pieces that appeal to all ages, and although the design has universal appeal, it is never particularly out-there or following street style trends. That’s why our editors were all surprised when we found a pair of boots that look straight from Copenhagen Fashion Week. Chunky, rubber-sole boots have been trending thanks to designers like Ganni and Bottega Veneta, and M&S has done its own iteration of the chunky knee-highs for ÂŁ50.So I had to try a pair to see if they live up to the product image on the website. When I put them on, my partner said, “Why are you wearing wellies inside?” This is certainly a reaction you will get to these boots, as…
