September 14, 2021 at 03:21AM Sisters who sing together also style together, and Chloe and Halle are crystal-covered proof that some looks are even better in pairs. While attending their first Met Gala on Monday, the sisters supported another set of siblings - Kate and Laura Mulleavy - by wearing complementary Rodarte outfits with V necklines and figure-hugging bodices. Inspired by classic Hollywood sirens like Marilyn Monroe and Grace Kelly, Chloe - who wowed us with her “Have Mercy” performance at the MTV VMAs on Sunday - wore a flowing white gown with a thigh-high slit and a cape so dramatic it belongs on the back of a wedding gown. In contrast, Halle’s sheer look was inspired by Tina Turner’s love for sparkling bodysuits on stage and was decked out in glittering pink fringe from every angle. The sisters also tied their looks…

Please Join Us in Bowing Down to Lil Nas X’s 3-in-1 Met Gala Look

September 14, 2021 at 01:58AM The 2021 Met Gala theme may have been a celebration of American fashion, but it appears as though Lil Nas X garnered inspiration from Russian nesting dolls when piecing together his looks for the night. The “Industry Baby” singer wore not one but three outfits custom-designed by Versace, each layered over one another à la the aforementioned dolls. He arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art looking like absolute royalty in a billowing, champagne-colored cape, and mere moments later, two men in suits helped him shed the outer layer to reveal a shiny gold suit of armor, complete with a six-pack, natch. Last, but most certainly not least, Lil Nas X’s grand finale look was an intricately beaded bodysuit that zipped up the front and made him look like a sultry superhero. Read ahead to take an all-angles…

September 14, 2021 at 01:53AM When it came to the 2021 Met Gala, Ciara understood the assignment and she ran with it … she ran with it right into the end zone. On Monday night, the stunning singer and mom-of-three stepped out on the red carpet wearing a jersey dress by designer Peter Dundas to resemble none other than her husband Russell Wilson’s NFL jersey. The lime green sequined dress was inspired by the Seattle Seahawks quarterback’s number 3 jersey. With the theme of the Met Gala being “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion,” Ciara rocked a football-shaped purse and Russell’s 2013 Super Bowl ring - because there is nothing more American than football! During her red carpet interview with Keke Palmer for Vogue, Ciara said that she and Peter were inspired by Geoffrey Beene’s iconic football jersey dresses from the late 1960s.…
