September 22, 2021 at 12:08PM ‘Twas the last day of London Fashion Week and COS was the last show on my schedule. With a FROW packed-full of editors, buyers and Instagram’s finest minimalists (oh hello Brittany Bathgate and Alexis Foreman), anticipation was high as the lights were dimmed and the catwalk illuminated. All I can say about the styling was: wow. Clean-lined, classic and achingly chic, this show was dangerous for my bank balances. You honestly couldn’t distinguish it from the designer runway looks we had seen the day before. While I wanted everything that hit the catwalk, there were a few highlights that truly stuck in my mind, including a very Prada-like cobalt blue tailored coat, a pair of slouchy tailored trousers that looked incredible layered under shift dresses, and the most beautiful silken shirt dress that weightlessly skimmed the runway.
