Heron Preston Teams Up with Zellerfeld to Create First 3D-Printed Sneaker

October 04, 2021 at 08:29PM Designer Heron Preston has released a fully 3D-printed sneaker in collaboration with technology company Zellerfeld, the first of its kind available to the public. And suddenly, the bar for footwear everywhere has been raised to offer a sustainable and forward-thinking alternative in an industry known for its excessive waste production. NY-based Heron Preston is no stranger to innovative fashion. The Instagram-famous creator, who debuted his namesake label in 2017, has collaborated with designers such as Kanye West and Virgil Abloh and has worked on sustainability-focused projects in the past. After seeing a 3D-shoe prototype designed by emerging tech company Zellerfeld, Preston was inspired by the prospect of rethinking traditional footwear. For a stripped-down rendition of “Justified,” she sat on stage wearing nothing but Celine boots and her guitar, a scene which she later revealed was inspired by Jenny from Forrest Gump. While Kacey paid homage to the movie character’s strip-club performance, the signature cowboy boots were all her. I mean, if you’re going to wear just one clothing item on stage, make it Celine. Angelina Jolie Wore the Trouser Trend That’s Fresher Than Cropped Skinny Pants

Jolie was recently in the City of Lights with her kids wearing a characteristically chic outfit. She wore her signature neutral color palette, opting for a white T-shirt, tan accessories and the subject of this story: full-length wide-leg khaki pants. If trouser muses were a thing (and perhaps they are), Angelina Jolie would be at the top of the list.
