Tan France Launches Genderless Outerwear Label Was Him: “We Want to Be an Inclusive Brand”

October 20, 2021 at 03:48PM Tan France, one of Queer Eye’s Fab Five and host of Next in Fashion, has partnered with retail platform and brand incubator thmbl to design a genderless line of outerwear for the fall/winter 2021 season. France liked the idea that a coat is often the one thing you remember about someone’s outfit, and saw the need for more affordable, luxe-looking pieces in the market. His solution is seven different styles that retail for $375-$475 and will be available to shop come November (so you better sign up for the wait list). “It’s about where you are now and how you want to present yourself to the world.” Of course, Tan styled a beautiful campaign to go with the drop. The inspiration behind the jackets and the detail you see on all of them is personal - but it…

Kate Middleton Just Replaced Diamonds With These ÂŁ10 Hoops From ASOS

October 20, 2021 at 12:59PM Despite what her 12-carat sapphire engagement ring might make you believe, Kate Middleton doesn’t always opt for the crème de la crème of jewellery. Sometimes, like us, she prefers to wear pieces that are a tad more on the accessible side. At least, that’s what she chose on Tuesday. The Duchess of Cambridge threw on a pair of ÂŁ10 gold hoops with an eye-catching red sweater-skirt duo and caramel-coloured accessories to give a speech at the BAFTA headquarters in London. Specifically, she wore14-karat gold-plated twist-hoop earrings from ASOS that are somehow still in stock—for now. This isn’t the first time that Middleton has dabbled in ASOS’s jewellery section. In fact, it isn’t even the first time she’s worn these exact earrings. In May, the duchess styled the chunky, twisted hoops with a red-and-black Alessandra Rich collared dress and black Jennifer Chamandi pumps for an event…

4 Mid-Length Styles That Make Thin Hair Look So Much Thicker

October 20, 2021 at 08:00AM Thin hair can be difficult to style. Trust me—I know. I’ve tried to make my naturally thin hair look thicker and fuller ever since I was in middle school and my mum let me get my hands on a hot tool. Since then, I’ve cycled through plenty of hairstyles, volumising products, and thickening techniques. Some have worked, but most haven’t. That’s okay. Somewhere along the way, I’ve learned to live and work with my naturally thin hair (sigh), and the style I choose to wear it in has a lot to do with that. For example, I’ve learned a slick-straight style doesn’t do my thin hair any favours, which is why I tend to go with tousled, textured waves instead. So yeah, I had my opinions on what hairstyles work best for my thin, medium-length hair, but I was wondering what experts…

Dakota Johnson Just Wore the Autumn Outfit I’m Copying From Head to Toe

October 20, 2021 at 08:00AM I have to admit I don’t look to celebrities all that often for style guidance. Despite the fact that I love poring over red carpet pictures and I’ll be endlessly enthralled and delighted by what avant-garde A-listers choose to wear for a casual date night (Rihanna, I'm talking about you), in general, I just don't connect with the ĂĽber-luxury and perfectly styled finish you’ll get from most famous people in the spotlight. However, one actress who always piques my interest is Dakota Johnson. She has a very laid-back approach to dressing for her public appearances, and while she can dial up the va-va-voom for events such as the Venice Film Festival, she’s equally adept at flinging on a cool jacket, a pair of jeans and flat boots—the kind of outfit one could actually re-create quite easily. In the same vein as, say, Kate Moss…

Here’s How French Girls Are Wearing the Anti–Skinny Jean Trend

October 20, 2021 at 08:00AM We here at Who What Wear like to talk in great detail (and with much passion!) about our jeans. They are one of the hardest-working items in our wardrobes, after all. We’ve already touched upon the biggest jean trends we’ll all be wearing in 2021—including ‘90s baggy styles, cross-over waistbands and, of course, with wider-leg styles coming back in general, it only makes sense that flares have returned.Yes, friends, the '70s silhouette is back, and we’ve already spotted them on a host of street style leaders (back in September last year, when Fashion Week was still happening) as well as on celebrities such as Katie Holmes. Thanks to designers such as Balmain, Victoria Beckham and Ulla Johnson, leg-lengthening flares are set to be a staple part of our wardrobes this year. And we’ve noticed that fashionable French women, in particular, have been…
