Perhaps it’s due to the lack of dressing-up opportunities over the last 18 months, or the fact that it’s my 30th at the end of the month, but either way I’m ready to channel my inner Cher and I don’t care who knows it. While each person offers their own spin on the wardrobe staple, the uniting theme seems to be stylish jumpers, be it chunky roll necks, ribbed fabrics or pops of painbox brights. The midi-skirt-and-jumper look has become a particular favourite of fashion minimalists, such as Alexis Foreman and Brittany Bathgate, who tend to stick to versatile colourways of navy, cream and black.
