Offering plenty of hand-spun, artisanal appeal, it’s a knitwear trend that I wear more than any other in the winter months, and it’s my favourite way to add texture to everything from classic denim to tailored trousers. Designers such as Alexander McQueen and Ganni have brought their own elevated spin to the cable-knit jumper and have particularly embraced a more oversize, chunky silhouette this season. However, high-street brands have also jumped on the bandwagon, offering plenty of fresh iterations that cover cardis and roll-necks and everything in-between.
