It’s no secret that I’m an avid Old Navy shopper. I’ve found some of my favorite pieces there, from a half-zip that’s earned me compliments from strangers to a button-down that makes me feel like a fashion influencer. Clearly, I spend a lot of time looking through the brand’s New Arrivals section, and I’m damn proud of it, because my new obsession is a piece I foresee myself (and you, reader!) wearing on repeat this summer. Enter the Old Navy Fitted Rib-Knit Midi Cami Dress ($35) that’s perfect in every sense of the word.

For the record, this dress has already sold out once since I bought it. (Yes, really). But that doesn’t surprise me. To be honest, I was surprised to see a fitted dress in Old Navy’s offerings. I normally associate the brand with fit-and-flare styles or flowy midis, so it certainly stands out on the brand’s website in the best way. I knew it would be a smart addition to my wardrobe because I could dress it down with sneakers and a jean jacket or up with heels and jewelry, depending on the occasion.

I wish I could find a singular thing to warn you about when it comes to this purchase, but I can’t. It’s so flattering, and its rib-knit texture not only looks luxe but also feels super comfortable. Other Old Navy shoppers agree: it’s perfect. One happy shopper wrote: “I was worried about the dress being too long for me had I ordered just the regular large. I’m 5’2” and about 165 lbs, I opted for the large petite and it was a perfect fit! I absolutely love the blue color, great for the upcoming spring season.“

Another person loves it so much, they’re ready to stock up on it in more hues (same; looking at you, Wish Bone). "I absolutely adore this dress,” they wrote in the reviews section. “I love that I can dress it up or wear it casually. It hugs all the right curves and I love the slit.”

If midi dresses aren’t your style, you may like the Fitted Sleeveless Rib-Knit Mini Dress ($30), which is basically the same thing except for a different neck and shorter hemline. Oh, and if you aren’t afraid of color like I am, you should know that it comes in more colors, ranging from pink and orange to brown and cream. Get one, or get ‘em all; you won’t be disappointed.
