Kim Kardashian of Skims and Fendi’s Kim Jones officially announced their collaboration in late October, with the collection debuting at fendiskims.com and selling quickly. Now, they’re dropping a second round of best-selling styles, including the shapewear, printed bodysuits, and intimates that focus on fit and fabrication. While the original release also offered beachwear, RTW, and accessories, we’re hoping there are a few more surprises to be revealed on Dec. 10, as this will be the final launch.

While Kim teased drop two on her Instagram with photos by Vanessa Beecroft, famed photographer Steven Meisel was tapped for the first campaign with models Precious Lee, Jessie Li, Tianna St. Louis, and Grace Valentine. In a press release, Jones told the story about how the idea for the collaboration initially came about.

“My team and I were sitting around a table at the studio in Rome. Suddenly, all the women went silent and started looking at their phones. I didn’t know what was going on, but they were waiting for the launch of the new SKIMS collection. It was then that I thought: let’s do something together,” he said. As longtime friends and lovers of quality and luxury, Jones and Kardashian got to work on a colorful line inspired by archival sketches of Karl Lagerfeld’s for Fendi in 1979. There are bags, shoes, twisted tube tops, pop colors, and tight sashes, along with a hybrid Fendi x Skims logo plastered across jersey and knitwear.

“My FENDI is about creating something for every woman, every different shape – and that’s something at the heart of SKIMS too,” Jones said in the release. “Kim Kardashian West is doing a lot to celebrate inclusivity – including her admirable work with social justice in America – and as a hard-working woman with a family, she is constantly striving to do her best. These values are something to celebrate.”
