Meghan Markle’s Head-to-Toe Red Look Is Entirely Made From Sustainable Materials

Meghan Markle has landed in the UK for an important occasion: the One Young World Summit in Manchester. After promoting her new “Archetypes” podcast in a series of stylish looks on Sept. 5, the Duchess of Sussex attended the summit’s opening ceremony alongside Prince Harry, delivering a keynote speech that exuded power.
Made from entirely sustainable and ethically sourced materials, Markle’s collarless bow blouse and matching straight-leg wool trousers are both from Another Tomorrow, a New York womenswear label described as “sustainable, ethical, from farm to fabric to atelier.” Embracing the bright cherry-red hue from head to toe, she finished the set with suede T-strap pumps from Aquazzura and gold Tabayer earrings. Prince Harry supported Markle at the event, looking sharp in a navy-blue suit.
Markle headed to the Invictus Games Dusseldorf’s One Year to Go event in Germany shortly after, wearing a white halter sweater and tan culottes. She’s known to love a monochromatic look, having mastered tonal dressing long before she became a royal. More recently, she also wore an all-white look that included a subtle nod to Princess Diana at the National Service of Thanksgiving and another white power suit for the 2022 Invictus Games in April.
Prior to her Another Tomorrow ensemble, the Duchess of Sussex has championed a number of sustainable fashion brands over the years. She famously wore a Stella McCartney dress on her wedding day, as well as for numerous public appearances; she’s also a huge supporter of Gabriela Hearst’s ready-to-wear and accessories, and she’s even sported more accessible eco-friendly labels like Rothy’s, Cuyana, and Everlane.
