If the Who What Wear team popped up in the next Marvel remake (a sight to behold), our super power would most definitely be the ability to spot a cult fashion item from a mile away. Not quite as useful as the power of flight, but we’ll take it.
Our powers seem to be particularly spot on when we see a great piece on the high street that looks seriously luxurious for a more affordable price. Especially when it comes in the form of a wardrobe classic rather than being too trend-led. Well, that’s exactly what happened when we just came across this belted leather coat from & Other Stories.
As we all know, leather coats are a completely timeless piece that slip into a capsule wardrobe very easily throughout the seasons, but also elevate your look as a statement piece. So when we spotted this classic black trench-style version, we have to admit it stopped us in our tracks. At £429 it’s still a serious investment for most of us, but it is 100% butter-soft Nappa leather— which from a designer would carry a much higher price-tag.
