Welcome to The Great Try-On. With spring officially in full swing, it’s time to ready your wardrobe, and we’re here to provide a little shopping inspiration. We got to try on some of the best spring pieces from some of your favourite brands and documented it all from our at-home dressing rooms so that you can see how they actually look IRL. We hope that our photos and candid reviews will help you shop for spring wardrobe builders that you’ll wear over and over this season and beyond.

It’s my job to edit the best shopping items online, but even as someone who spends so much time studying all of the latest drops and coolest new trends that have arrived on the internet, nothing replaces trying things on in person. With so many great spring Reformation items landing on the market, I’ve been excited to test-drive some of them for myself. So I did just that so I can weigh in about which pieces are worth adding to your basket.

I ordered a mix of dresses, skirts, matching sets, and easy layering staples, and while not everything I tried was exactly right for my wardrobe, the 10 pieces ahead are ones I would highly recommend. They tick all the boxes of what I look for in new buys: on-trend, a great fit, and versatility that will last into the seasons ahead. Here, see my Reformation spring clothing reviews and exactly how I’m styling the finds.

My Review: If you’re on the hunt for the perfect minidress, look no further. This piece is finished with a sweetheart neckline, slightly puffed sleeves, and a loose silhouette, making it a great piece for so many occasions. Just add a pair of kitten heels for a date-night look, or toughen it up with boots for a city look.

I’m also eyeing the pink version.

My Review: The beauty of matching sets is that you don’t have to think too hard about what you’re wearing, which is exactly the case with this halter top and these matching relaxed jeans. Oh, and it taps into the white-denim trend that I can’t get enough of this spring.

Found your spring crop top.

Loose jeans only.

My Review: Slip dresses are suddenly on my radar for the first time in a while, and I instantly fell in love with this blue satin piece the moment I saw it. I took some inspiration from the A/W 2022 Bottega Veneta runway, styling it with a jumper tied at the waist. There are so many other ways I’ll be wearing it, though, in the coming months. This shade is selling out quickly, but I’m equally enamored with the chocolate-brown version.

Trust me—you’ll want this in your basket.

My Review: I live for great staples because there are so many ways to style them. Recently, I’ve been living in crisp button-down tops and instantly knew I wanted to add this piece to my collection. It’s the perfect shade of blue to work into my mostly neutral wardrobe. Here, I’m styling it with the same jeans I wore above, which are a great wide-leg cut, as well as a pair of polished ruched sandals that I think everyone should consider for spring.

Guess what I’m living in right now.

I’m here for the pleated details.

Such a chic take on flats.

My Review: I’ve been seeing so many cool takes on knit skirt sets and couldn’t wait to test-drive this one for myself. As I mentioned, I love a great matching set, and here is yet another one sitting at Reformation that I styled with a belt bag and slingbacks.

It’s a three-in-one!

My Review: The micro-miniskirt trend is huge this spring, and I put my own spin on it with some of Reformation’s latest drops. I’ve been gravitating toward the idea of pairing a cropped tee with a tweed mini for a Chanel-inspired look and can confidently say this is my new favourite outfit formula.

A spring staple I can get behind.

Yes to tweed, always.

My Review: Tennis pieces are having a major moment, and I’m very here for it. As someone who grew up playing tennis, the preppy pieces are my comfort zone, and I love tapping into the look in new ways. This tennis dress is made from cotton, but not the kind you would want to hit the courts in, so I’d plan on wearing it for an off-duty look.

Just add sneakers and ankle socks.

Topping my wish list.

I told you the brown shade was stunning.

I need this.

Tailored yet comfy.

Now this is a great date-night dress.

I can’t resist great button-downs.

I’d style this with knee-high boots.

So sleek.
