Holly Willoughby is known for chronicling her outfits for This Morning on Instagram and we always keep an eye on her updates to gather any style inspiration. Recently, Holly has made a case for the black dress, not once but twice, after wearing cult brand The Vampire’s Wife. A longstanding fan of the brand, Holly also wore a red style a couple of years back that, according to liketoknow.it, caused a 2,700% increase in searches for the brand. If that’s not enough, she also ticks the eco-credentials box as the dresses were all rented.

I guess it shouldn’t be that much of a shock. While there have been plenty of contenders for the top spot, it’s The Vampire’s Wife that remains the choice dress outfitter when it comes to celebs. Seen everywhere from across Instagram to award-season after-parties, it continues to be incredibly popular way into 2022.

The brand first began gaining momentum back in 2017 when the likes of Alexa Chung, Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley, as well as a legion of high-profile influencers, all wore the brand’s Festival dress on repeat. Owing to its universally flattering shape—a simple round neck, nipped-in waist, midi-length skirt and elbow-length sleeves adorned with frilly cuffs—it’s little wonder it became an It-girl favourite.

Fast forward to 2019 at the Royal wedding, and the brand went supernova. Not one, not two but three of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s guests opted for the brand’s frocks, putting them firmly in the global spotlight.

The Vampire’s Wife’s illustrious fan club keeps growing by the day: Kate Middleton, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Florence Welch, Maya Rudolph and Jennifer Aniston (the latest A-lister to wear one of its fabulous creations) all love the brand.

Style Notes: Last month, Holly wore the Mini Cate Dress with black heels and minimal accessories. Proving the LBD never fails, we expect this one won’t stick around for long.

Style Notes: A returning fan of the brand, Holly goes for yet another black dress with this floor-length gown.

Style Notes: For a previous party season, Holly wore the Falconetti shimmering red midi. A slick of red lippy and effortless courts lets the dress do all the taking.

Style Notes: The Duchess of Cambridge wears the emerald dress with gold earrings and a matching clutch bag. Green pumps complete the look.

Style Notes: Maya Rudolph accepted two Emmy awards wearing this emerald beauty. The dress itself should win an award, in our opinion.

Style Notes: Florence loves a showstopper of a dress and she shows how to style this silver number: With the matching bag, of course.

Style Notes: A girl who loves to try a bit of high/low styling, Alexa wears the silver ruffle dress with a casual coat on top.

Style Notes: Actor Daisy Edgar-Jones keep the Whole Lotta Trouble floral dress simple with an up-do and subtle jewels.
