Eva Mendes coordinated her outfit perfectly with a “Barbie” movie poster of her husband Ryan Gosling as Ken. The 49-year-old actress was interviewed on E!’s “Nightly Pop” following the announcement of the Greta Gerwig-directed film, though the talk show is no longer on the air. While it was very likely a coincidence that Mendes’s knee-length yellow sheath dress and blazer matched the blow-up graphic, E! re-shared the clip to Instagram amidst all the Barbiecore chaos this July, captioning the snippet, “This can go in Eva and Ryan’s Mojo Dojo Casa House. 😉 #Barbie.”

Mendes, who previously supported Gosling’s role in a $25 T-shirt that paid ode to his character, did not appear on any premiere red carpets with her partner, but is clearly a fan of the undeniable “Kenergy” hype that has come from the buzzy project. When she visited E!’s set, she wore her jacket open to reveal a straight-across neckline and leggy moment highlighted by a pair of metallic platform sandals. Her long, brown highlighted waves were parted at the side and she sported naturally glowing makeup and oversize silver hoops.

Mendes’s Instagram page has recently been a place of curated “Barbie” jokes, as she promoted her antimicrobial Skura sponges in a pink floral one-shoulder dress, rating the cleaning supplies a “Ken out of Ken.” She has also been showing off a series of breezy summer dresses, including an Agua by Agua Bendita poufy-sleeved number that she teamed with brown Larroude mules; a chiffon maxi with a brushstroke Roma print; and a sleeveless hot-pink mockneck gown with ruching down the bodice.
