Doja Cat Accessorizes Her Look With 6-Inch Platforms and a Cluster of Grapes

Doja Cat made quite the sartorial statement at Paris Haute Couture Week. Ahead of the Jean Paul Gaultier runway show on Jan. 25, the rapper sparked a chain of viral TikTok videos as she posed for photographers while feeding herself a cluster of grapes. The star, who works with stylist Brett Alan Nelson, clutched the fruit proudly in her gloved hand, as if it were the newest street style accessory. She styled it with a cornflower blue leather jacket with oversize pockets, cinching the coat with a wide belt and layering it over a matching turtleneck dress. She added opaque tights, rectangular sunglasses, and delicate hoop earrings. Doja Cat stood tall in sculptural, pointed-toe Mary Jane patent pumps from the brand – the finishing touch to her artful ensemble.

Merely hours before, Doja Cat sported fake eyelashes as a “lash-stache” at the Viktor & Rolf show, cutting and repurposing the beauty add-ons as a goatee, eyebrows, and mustache to go with her oversize pinstripe suiting. The move was reportedly a response to her fans, who were disappointed that her custom Schiaparelli makeup did not come with eyelashes. It did, however, include over 30,000 red Swarovski crystals lacquered onto her body by Pat McGrath and inspired by Dante Alighieri’s poem “Inferno.”

Doja Cat also made time to attend the Valentino show on the arm of Nelson, where she wowed in a sequined bra top, miniskirt, rose appliquéd cape, and opera-length gloves. The ensemble was finished with plenty of layered cross pendants from Loree Rodkin.

The musician is known for her abstract aesthetic and has been consistently turning heads with every appearance, including the time she shaved off her hair and eyebrows on Instagram Live. Ahead, see everything she wore to Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.
