“Law and Order” star Christopher Meloni is the face of performance and compression clothing company Tommie Copper, officially helping to kick off the brand’s new socks campaign with a hilarious promotional video. The 62-year-old star, who has fully accepted his role as a sex symbol and “zaddy,” enjoys a morning of lounging in bed and cooking breakfast in the short film, as he showcases a total of eight different colorways in the over-the-calf compression socks.

Of course, the real treat is that Meloni is modeling the socks entirely in the nude, with eyes locked on the camera. “I never take these babies off. It’s better than being naked. Why? ‘Cause naked only comes in one color,” he says with a smirk, before leaving us with a purr and a wink. Needless to say, the ad has garnered attention on Instagram, with Old Navy commenting, “daddy??????” and another user writing, “Round of applause for these companies continuing to make ads with Chris nude ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ˜‚.” Plenty of others simply posted about the embarrassing amount of times they re-watched the clip.

Tommie Copper is known as the original copper compression innovator, offering pain relief through its supportive and comfortable products. The brand is smart to cast a charismatic actor like Meloni, who clearly maintains a dedicated fanbase thanks to his 24-year stint on “Law and Order.” If Meloni’s followers didn’t yet know about Tommie Copper socks, now they most definitely do. And on the off chance Tommie Copper shoppers weren’t aware of Meloni’s existence, rest assured the introduction went swimmingly.
