The 2023 Grammys red carpet kicks off from LA’s Crypto.com Arena on Sunday night, with E!’s Laverne Cox in charge of spotlighting the best celebrity looks. This year, there’s high anticipation for Beyoncé, who is nominated for nine awards, with her album “Renaissance” recognized in one of the top four categories. After attending Saturday’s Roc Nation brunch in a futuristic minidress by Gareth Pugh, we can only expect another avant-garde moment from the renowned musician, who dreams up her wardrobe with K.J. Moody.
Other nominees include Machine Gun Kelly, who is on the first-timer list and is known for sporting groundbreaking looks in coordination with his beau, Megan Fox; Harry Styles, who will be performing onstage and is up against Beyoncé and Adele for album of the year; Lizzo, who has already marked the special weekend as a “hard launch” of her relationship with boyfriend Myke Wright while flaunting a fringe-trimmed Alexander McQueen mini at the pre-Grammy gala; Doja Cat, who showed up early on in a latex Atelier Versace ensemble; and Adele, who tied with Brandi Carlile at seven nominations and will work with her stylist Jamie Mizrahi to debut what’s sure to be yet another glamorous, curve-skimming gown in her repertoire.
Meanwhile, Anitta and Latto are both making their Grammys debuts as best new artists, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see either of them flaunt a Y2K-inspired aesthetic for their arrivals. After all, stylist Ronnie Hart has scored plenty of dramatic dresses for Anitta, from a custom sheer Dundas number to a Mugler sheath with booty-baring panels, and Latto is known for pulling off risqué trends such as hip cleavage, thigh slits, and plunging necklines.
Ahead, see the most notable appearances of the evening and get full outfit details, then be sure to check out this list of 2023 Grammy winners as the ceremony unfolds, led by three-time host Trevor Noah.
