I created What to Buy Now to bring you a concise weekly edit of the items I really love, including pieces from the high street, designer labels, vintage gems you can buy online and even charity-shop treasures. I’m constantly scanning the most stylish online stores, so you can feel safe knowing that you won’t miss a thing.

I know that your fashion requirements can vary massively from season to season, whether you’re looking for an immaculately tailored staple, an affordable sundress or the perfect pair of shoes. So not only will I cover all of the bases, but as an ardent believer in mindful consumption, I’ll also make sure everything I include will look just as fresh in a year’s time as it does now.

Of course, I’ll also bring you those pieces that simply set your heart racing in a way that only fashion can. This week’s highlights include plenty of wardrobe gems, from a statement spring jacket to the perfect midi skirt. Scroll down to shop the buys on my wish list this week. You know what to do.

A real spring winner from & Other Stories this season.

I’m obsessed with this skirt silhouette. Just add platform mules and a white tee.

This is a bit of a curveball for me, but I’m into the ‘90s throwback vibes.

Another cult-worthy dress from Tove.

Striped are set to hit the spotlight for 2022.

The perfect pair of jeans? I think so.

I’m not a dress person, but I might make a concession for this corset-detail style.

*That* Prada mini skirt is finally available to buy.

Fuchsia is the colour of the season

How cool are these wave-detail jackets from lesser-known brand Realms?

I love a good pair of white dungarees for spring. Just layer over a ruffle-neck blouse.

Such an elegant co-ord. Perfect for a garden party or spring wedding.

The sculptural heels on these Balenciaga knee-high boots are so standout.

I’m really into silken sets right now, whether it’s for lounging at home or heading out in heels.

Of course Shrimps’ jewellery offering is this chic. Personally, I would use these to add bling to a simple crew-neck knit.

You’d never know this dress was from high-street fave Zara. Obsessed with the asymmetric neckline.

An oldie but a goodie. Trench coats are a Who What Wear go-to for the spring months.

Arket’s green-hued separates are so on-point this season, and this miniskirt is at the top of my list.

This is the perfect leather coat length.

Rave Review delivers yet another upcycled gem.

Style these with cropped trousers and a frou frou shirt.

I love the fold-over detail on these COS jeans.

Introducing the perfect pair of gold hoops.

One of my new brand discoveries from this week.

All I want to wear right now is platform boots.

Layer under anything from dresses to white shirts.

A double-breasted jacket will give your wardrobe basics a retro twist.

The most beautiful colour.

Such a beautiful pair of trousers.

All of our editors want this jacket.

The baggy fit is just perfect.

An amazing 90s silhouette.

An amazing layering piece.

Yes VB!

Free People has so many good platforms at the moment.

Luke Edward Hall, the interior world’s coolest new name, has just launched his own fashion line. Run, don’t walk.

If you’re looking for high-quality tailoring on the high street this season, allow me to recommend this dreamy two-piece from H&M.

The kilt-inspired skirt is still going strong this year, and I love this minimalistic white interpretation from La Fetiche.

Years later, and I’m still thinking about these monochrome Ganni cowboy boots.

WWW’s Emma Spedding just got this jacket, and I have to say it looks even more premium IRL. Top tip: Size down if you prefer a closer fit.

For some reason, I’m being drawn towards stripes this season, and this shirt is exactly what I want to wear with jeans and boots this spring.

If you haven’t heard of Miista before, then it’s time to get acquainted. Originating in Spain, the brand does the best chunky-heeled boots.

It’s fair to say that there has never been a fringed jacket that I haven’t seen and fallen in love with. This season’s fave comes courtesy of Halfboy.

Whether you add to jeans, dresses or midi skirts, a navy crew-neck knit is one of those wardrobe staples that I genuinely couldn’t live without.

The ’80s-inspired tweed jacket is cropping up all over the high street, and this is one of my fave iterations.

Who knew that COS did highlighter hues? But rendered in a very chic platform sandal, of course.

Damson Madder is the conscious fashion brand you need to know, and I’m particularly in love with the brand’s Joy jumpsuit this season.

Alexa Chung was snapped in a white version of this Molly Goddard dress last week, so now I obviously want one too.

All the Who What Wear editors are pining after platforms right now, and the wooden sole on this Gabriela Hearst pair is just too cool.

Green suede? Dagger collar? Tailored fit? This vintage jacket has it all.

As spring starts to creep in, I plan on wearing knitted vests with flared jeans, à la this Victoria Beckham look.

I’m partial to a bit of Wild West styling, and this H&M denim dress would very much look the part with a pair of cowboy boots this spring.

I’m not usually a bomber-jacket person, but this oversized style from Mango may just sway me. Especially styled with a pink mini—just saying.

A fringed jacket is one of the outwear pieces I wear most frequently all year round.

Is there anything I don’t love about this ’70s-inspired belted wool jumpsuit? No, no there is not.

High-waisted, straight cut and long in the leg—I think I’ve found my fave new pair of jeans thanks to Weekday.

Add a little old-school glamour to any outfit with a vintage Chanel brooch.

Such a smart and chic layering device that’ll look great now and long into the spring months.

Use this bright button-up to add interest to the neutral separates sitting in your wardrobe.

I’m seeing stripes everywhere this season, and this graphic midi from Mango will be a dream to wear in spring.

There’s something very Dior about this single-breasted blazer. At only £55, it’s a bargain, too.

The square toe and zesty hue make these Bottega mules seriously lust-worthy.

I love the idea of styling this with leggings and knee-high boots for an equestrian vibe.

Shopping in Arket’s men’s department is an editor’s secret weapon for expensive-looking knitwear.

The monochrome! The cuban heel! These Zara cowboy boots are excellent in every way.

I know we’re technically out of party season, but I think this sequin top would look amazing under a white shirt for Friday night drinks.

A very cute collab has just arrived at Jigsaw, and this Breton top is at the top of my wish list.

Mango is one of the best high-street brands for premium footwear IMO.

Oh so elegant. Wear with a white tee and flared jeans now then swap in heeled sandals and gold jewellery come spring.

Blazé Milano is my dream jacket brand, and this tweed style has very chic ’80s undertones.

I’m loving all the graphic, retro-inspired prints that Gucci is delivering this season.

I’m a sucker for a Rejina Pyo jacket, and this denim iteration is a real gem.

Why not go for the full Canadian tuxedo with Pyo’s matching bootcut jeans?

Okay, I think the lettered print might be my one concession to the noughties trend.

WWW’s editor in chief, Hannah, alerted me to this lesser-known brand, and now I’m hooked.

H&M’s premium-feel knit now comes in navy. Don’t mind if I do.

I can’t resist animal-print jeans for adding personality to my fave wardrobe basics.

I wear ruffled-collar blouses with everything from skirts and denim to tailored trousers, and this & Other Stories iteration is a real winner.

I’m getting all the Clueless vibes from this vintage Versus Versace skirt suit. Perfect for spring.

COS has always known how to create a good knit, but it has outdone itself with this oversized, checked number.

This Renaissance Renaissance top is bringing all the ’80s-supermodel vibes, and I’m here for it.

A knotted scarf is the easiest way to add flair to a simple cold-weather ensemble.

Five words: the ultimate statement tweed jacket. That’s all.

I have a feeling this & Other Stories fringed jacket won’t stay in stock for long.

Hooray! COS’s sellout crossbody is back, and it comes Who What Wear editor approved.

I can’t resist a bit of animal print, especially in jeans form. Good job, Mango.

You have to zoom in to appreciate the details on this chic shirt. For example, the textured collar and cuffs are made out of repurposed hemp. Smart.

Biker jackets are making a comeback for 2022, didn’t you know? Take a look online for weather-worn second-hand iterations.
