Ahhh, that post-Christmas, pre-new year lull— you’ve probably watched most of Netflix by now, caught up with all your favourite Who What Wear articles and indulged in a little sale shopping— right? If you’re anything like us, you’ve probably also spent more time in pyjamas and loungewear than not over the past week or so and the idea of getting dressed again in real clothes has become a little daunting.

So, while we all have time to take a little breather, we thought we’d use it to search for some fresh outfit inspiration for us all. Yes, we may still be in the depths of winter but we’re all a bit bored of cold-weather dressing now aren’t we? Our coat and knit collections have been updated, and as 2022 dawns it can’t hurt to look forward to the new season ahead. And by the looks of our favourite fashion feeds, there’s plenty to get excited about this spring.

We scrolled and scrolled and found 6 outfits that stood out in particular, from some Parisian minimalism to cheerful brights. They’re easy-to-copy, including many pieces you probably already own— yet something about the combinations feel fresh and inspired. Keep scrolling to see if you agree, and shop the pieces you may need to fill any gaps in your wardrobes before spring comes along.

Style Notes: The matching of the cardigan to the accessories here makes a basic outfit something really special.

Style Notes: Imani has just convinced us to try longer denim shorts this spring, just as soon as the weather warms up.

Style Notes: So simple but just so good. The contrasting cream details and gold buttons on this Maje cardigan scream Parisian chic.

Style Notes: A long-sleeved maxi dress is great for transitioning into spring, and it’s a bonus that this season longer hem lengths are top of the agenda. We love how Franny elevates hers with some layered necklaces here.

Style Notes: Filippa shows us how to make a suit work on weekends. The addition of the casual black converse and fresh white bag is inspired.

Style Notes: Zeena always nails dopamine dressing, and this floral mini dress look is no exception. The boots keep it spring-appropriate and the beret adds such a cute finishing touch.
