I don’t know about you, but I am so psyched about party season this year. Perhaps it’s due to the lack of dressing-up opportunities over the last 18 months, or the fact that it’s my 30th at the end of the month, but either way I’m ready to channel my inner Cher and I don’t care who knows it. My first port of call? Harvey Nichols, obviously. All my favourite designer party brands are there: Think 16ARLINGTON, The Sleeper and Jimmy Choo. It really is a fashion magpie’s dream.
So what do I have my eye on this season? I’m not a massive dress-lover, so I’m definitely eyeing The Sleeper’s iconic feathered PJS, which will look suitably fabulous with bejewelled heels. 16ARLINGTON’s statement white shirt is also a highlight, and simply needs a pair of colour-match trousers to truly shine. Of course, I couldn’t quite resist the old school Hollywood glamour of Alexander McQueen’s full-skirted pink frock, which is offered Carrie Bradshaw undertones with oversized pearl earrings and embellished hair slides.
