January is a notoriously tough month to get through for many reasons. After the recent festivities and busy party season it can feel a little deflating not having such a social schedule, nor the money left to capitalise on your free time. Not to mention the weather which in December feels frosty and festive, but in January just seems plain old grey and cold.
It’s totally understandable to need a little pick-me-up, and nothing works better for it than a little retail therapy (we say this from experience). If you’re on a budget post-Christmas, that’s all the more excuse to turn to the affordable high street. You can scour the sales too (in which case do check out our round up of the best deals on offer here), but if you’re a little tired of seeing the same styles and more interested in freshness for the new year ahead, then we think you’ll be grateful for our shopping round-up below.
