Last year, weddings were practically non-existent. Plenty of couples who had their nuptials planned over 2020 had to cancel or reschedule. But in 2021, weddings are back, which means invitations are starting to roll in and are even stacking up for next year. If you’re starting to plan and hunt for wedding guest looks, this is where we step in, as we’ve looked through the thousands of dresses available on the high street and from designers.
I’ve genuinely spent hours hunting down the coolest, most appropriate autumn-ready wedding guest dresses around. Longer sleeves feature on most of these frocks, of course, and hemlines stay in the midi-length area. That said, these dresses are meant to last, so expect to keep wearing them over the festive period, next year’s wedding season and years to come after. Also, bonus tip for 2022’s nuptials: If you buy your outfit now, chances are by the time the wedding comes around, no one else will be wearing the same thing as you.
